CWE Commissioner J. Jody Jenkins is proud to announce that CWE has won a 13 month battle with World Wrestling Entertainment to retain the Ontario Championship. WWE Superstar, Robbie McAllister was last to hold the Ontario Championship before he was signed by World Wrestling Entertainment. While WWE wished to incorporate the title into their weekly television broadcast of “Monday Night Raw,” the CWE board of directors fought to keep the Ontario Championship within a CWE ring. Late Tuesday evening, CWEAction.com learned that the Ontario Championship has been successfully shipped home to the CWE Offices. Commissioner Jenkins has confirmed that a new Ontario Champion will be crowned at CWE Boiling Point on August 25. The vacant title will be suspended over 20 feet above the ring in one of wrestling’s most dangerous matches, The Ladder Match.
