-- USA Network issued a press release today stating that they had the best second-quarter numbers ever for a cable channel. Regarding WWE, the press release reads: The June 15th show was the most watched 3-Hour episode of WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW ever for P25-54 (2.63 million), while the June 22nd installment (the first ever to run commercial-free) was the most watched episode since March 25, 2002 for total viewers (6.81 million) and households (4.48 million) and the most watched since July 28, 2003 among P18-49 (3.1 2 million).

-- Taz’s 90-day no-compete clause on his contract with WWE expires today. The clause is standard with all WWE performers who are released, and prevents them from working for competition for the next 90 days. Taz confirmed the expiration on his Facebook blog, saying "BTW-freedom."
