MASKED REPUBLIC'S MASKEDMANIA MEGA-EVENT COMES TO INDEMAND CABLE PAY PER VIEW FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 5TH

Replays of critically acclaimed lucha libre spectacular, available in HD English and SD English or Spanish, begin Saturday.

September 3, 2014 - SAN DIEGO, CA

Masked Republic, the only company in the world "dedicated to expanding lucha libre beyond the borders of Mexico," brings it's world class brand of Mexican pro wrestling to Pay Per View for the first time in 3 years with it's biggest and most universally praised event to date.

The event's main event in which LA PARK (the original La Parka of AAA and WCW fame) battles Dr. Wagner Jr. for the International Wrestling League championship could be found as the headline match in the top lucha arenas throughout Mexico. The undercard features bouts for the FILL Maestro's Title as champion Negro Navarro battles Solar (the subject of the recent award winning PBS documentary Tales of Masked Men), the PWR World Minis's Title as champion Mini Mariachi (the original Octagoncito) defends against his arch rival Pequeño Pierroth, and subject of a feature in this month's New Yorker Magazine, Cassandro El Exótico takes on independent stand out and world traveler "Spartan" Matt Cross (Tough Enough, Wrestling Society X).

The show's semi-main event features a huge six-man "Trios match" as lucha legend Damian 666 (AAA, CMLL, WCW, ECW) & his son Bestia 666 team with hardcore wrestling legend Sabu (ECW, WCW, WWE) take on Homicide (TNA, ROH), Blk Jeez (TNA, CZW) & Ruckus (WSX, CZW) in an all-out high impact lucha brawl.
