Detailed Results
Big Ryck has a new crew. His cousin, The Mack (Willie Mack), and Kill Shot, have joined Ryck in Lucha Underground. Dario Cueto enters them in a trios (6-person) tag tournament, which begins this week.

1. Angelico vs. Johnny Mundo.

Call air traffic control for this one. Angelico and Mundo are similar in size, speed, and build. You might say, then, that Angelico is a taller version of his countryman, P. J. Black (formerly Justin Gabriel), whom Mundo may remember from WWE. Anyway, this was off the chain, and set the pace for the rest of the night. These two are so evenly matched, one mistake is all it takes to swing the match either way. Angelico makes that mistake, and pays for it with the End of the World crashing down.

Winner: Johnny Mundo.

Black Lotus was last seen bound & gagged in the trunk of a car. We now know her rescuer was El Dragon Azteca, who is now her teacher. She will learn how to wrestle the Lucha Libre way before she goes after her quarry, the monster known as Matanza, although he could be under another name by the time he finally appears on camera.

Back in the office, Cueto assigns Super Fly & Pentagon, Jr. as Sexy Star's partners in the tournament. This will not end well.

2. Drago vs. Aerostar.

Drago needs this to even the best-of-5 series, or Aerostar gets whatever unique opportunity Cueto has promised, and I think that won't end well, either. A little more tension & hostility surface between these two, heightened after the match, after Drago has accomplished his goal with a modified cradle.

Winner: Drago. Series tied, 2-2.

Angelico, Son of Havoc, & Ivelisse get the shock of their lives when Cueto, unimpressed by their individual performances (they have 4 wins between them, and Angelico, who lost earlier, has 2), decides to enter them in the tournament. Hmmm, someone's been reading Paul Heyman's old booking manual.........

3. Trios tournament, 1st round: Big Ryck, The Mack, & Kill Shot vs. Sexy Star, Pentagon, Jr., & Super Fly.

You can tell right away who's advancing. If you don't know, you soon will. Mack & Kill Shot are tall, rangy, and far more mobile than Ryck, and that makes all the difference in the world. Double topes on Super Fly & Pentagon. Ultimately, Super Fly is left alone. Brainbuster. Double foot-stomp off the top. Mack makes the cover, and gets his 1st win.

Winners: Big Ryck, The Mack, & Kill Shot.

Post-match, Pentagon turns on Super Fly, and tries to break his arm, but Sexy makes the save. Uh-oh. Trouble ahead, and it's not going to end well.
