Detailed Results
1. Trios tournament: Ivelisse, Angelico, & Son of Havoc vs. Fenix, Drago, & Aerostar.

The dysfunctional tournament continues. A wild, hot opener, and even though Team Havoc isn't on the same page, at least they can function as a unit. Drago & Aerostar's mutual respect is strained after 4 matches against each other, with the finale likely next week. Everyone got to try a tope in this one, even Ivelisse. However, the so-called baddest beyotch walked away from her two partners at the end, thinking her side would lose. Nope. Havoc landed a sweet shooting star press on Aerostar to end it.

Winners: Ivelisse, Angelico, & Son of Havoc.

2. Super Fly vs. Sexy Star.

Super Fly gets the jobber entrance. Instead of either of these two squaring off with Pentagon, Jr., in the wake of what happened last week, Dario Cueto pits Sexy & Super against each other, and, at the last minute, adds a career-altering stip. It's now mask vs. mask. As Matt Striker & Vampiro are quick to point out, Cueto, from Spain, doesn't give a rat's ass about Lucha traditions, and will spit on them when he gets a chance, and this is one of those times. Reluctantly, these two lock up, and, considering Fly hasn't won a match yet, the outcome is already sure. Sexy scores with a La Majistral cradle, and that's the end.

Winner: Sexy Star.

They needed a commercial break to milk the glaring lack of drama. No sooner than Super Fly is unmasked than--surprise--Pentagon shows up and breaks the poor guy's arm after shoving Sexy off the apron.

The only way Pentagon's arm-breaking gimmick has a payoff is if he gets a title shot vs. Prince Puma or Alberto El Patron. Then, and only then, will it really be worth the pain.

3. Lucha Underground title: Prince Puma (w/Hernandez & Johnny Mundo) vs. King Cuerno (w/Cage & Texano, Jr.).

The two teams were put together for the final preliminary round of the trios tournament, and that match is next week. It's funny how The Crew, the only established trios team in LU, wasn't even considered for the tournament. Konnan doesn't trust Mundo, obviously, and one scribe thinks there's dire plans for Puma with the former LAX compadres involved. Don't be so sure. The tipping point comes when the cornermen get involved, and Mundo hits a tope on the heels. Hernandez gets Cuerno's attention, and no sells any attempt at offense. Puma, who had no idea Hernandez got involved, capitalizes and hits the 630.

Winner: Prince Puma.

Trust issues emerge between Puma & Hernandez as we sign off. Cuerno's now lost two in a row. Hmmmmmm.
