Detailed Results
Part 2 of Ultima Lucha Dos.

1. Gift of the Gods title: Sinestro de la Muerte vs. Sexy Star vs. Mariposa vs. Killshot vs. Marty Martinez vs. Daga vs. Night Claw.

Night Claw is the newcomer, introduced in a filmed segment in Dario Cueto's office three weeks ago. Man, was he impressive, or what? Claw scored the first two eliminations, first taking out Sinestro with a running C4, then Daga with a top rope splash. Meanwhile, Killshot and Martinez and the ladies paired off, as expected.

Night Claw tried to make it three in a row, but Killshot had none of that, and eliminated the newbie with what Matt Striker referred to as the Storm Cradle Driver (One Winged Angel). Now, Killshot and Sexy are paired against Martinez & Mariposa. I was hoping Killshot would get his dog tags back from Martinez, but it was not to be. Instead, Mariposa hit the Butterfly Effect, and Martinez taunted Killshot with the dog tags as the ref counted the fall.

That left Sexy all alone with her tormentors, and if you thought she'd gotten sufficient revenge winning a match earlier this year over Mariposa, think again. Martinez tried a KO punch, but clocked his "sister" instead, and Sexy simply pinned Mariposa. Now, the Moth was about to get his. Throughout the match, Martinez had been targeted for submissions, first by Daga, and now by Sexy, who locked on the cross-armbreaker, and to the delight of the crowd, got the submission as Martinez tapped.

Winner & new Gift of the Gods champion: Sexy Star.

At police headquarters, Mr. Cisco is worried, but Officer Reyes (Cortez Castro) reassures him everything will be okay. We think....

2. King Cuerno vs. Mil Muertes.

Rematch from two weeks ago, but this time, it's a death match. However, while Striker said this was no countout, no-DQ, pins and submissions were in play, surprisingly, which would explain why there were no 10 counts.

Let me just skip to the ending. Muertes powerbombed Cuerno through three consecutive tables, then threw him back in the ring. Muertes retrieved a crowbar, and came off the top to clock Cuerno. A tombstone piledriver, fittingly, ended it.

Winner: Mil Muertes.

Cuerno did a stretcher job.

Matt & Vampiro sign off, but Vamp leaves to prep Pentagon, Jr. for his title match next week.....

Suffice to say Cisco may have blown his assignment the second he walked into Dario Cueto's office. Dario could sense something was wrong, and found the wire. After taunting the cops, he used the paperweight to "kill" Cisco.
