The conclusion of Ultima Lucha Dos.

We begin with a video package that encompasses the many issues being addressed on this week's show. Somewhere in LA, Vampiro is explaining to Pentagon, Jr. that he must destroy the man that was broken by Matanza Cueto earlier this season. Fancy effects show Pentagon fighting a number of like-dressed "clones", but the biggest of them all is Vamp himself. Ultimately, we find that Pentagon, Jr. is no more. He is now Pentagon Dark.

1. LU trios title: Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, PJ Black, & Jack Evans) vs. Fenix, Aerostar, & Drago.

Again, Matt Striker refers to the technicos as the "Super Friends". Freaky cool, man. Taya has a match later and is not at ringside, so the sides are even. Unfortunately, the champs just can't help themselves with low blows, and ref Rick Knox pays the price for trying to maintain order by getting bumped.

However, just when it looks like the champs will retain, Angelico returns and uses his crutches on Mundo, implying that greedy Johnny had something to do with him being shelved. Fenix capitalizes as his partners clear out Black & Evans. One Fenix Driver later, and Knox recovers to count the fall.

Winners & new champions: Fenix, Aerostar, & Drago.

2. Black Lotus vs. El Dragon Azteca, Jr..

Lotus is billed as hailing from Hong Kong. Angela Fong (Lotus) hasn't had too many matches that we know of, but she did wrestle some for FCW before being called to WWE/ECW in 2009. However, she was used as a ring announcer-interviewer, not a wrestler. Is there ring rust? Can't tell. However, it's a whole lot of nothing. Pentagon Dark comes down and knocks Dragon Azteca off the top. He then proceeds to "break" Lotus' arm, and after a package piledriver, does the same to Dragon Azteca.

Winner: None.

Pentagon Dark cuts a promo recapping what we saw earlier. He wants Matanza, and he wants him now. JG Wentworth is jealous.

3. LU title: Matanza Cueto (w/Dario) vs. Pentagon Dark.

There has to be a winner, presumably so we can move on. The reason this is in the mid-show slot is because Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Prince Puma is the main event. A spectacular brawl, as you'd expect. Pentagon, bursting with fresh confidence, overpowers the champion, but can't put him away. Vampiro pulls a barbed wire bat from under the desk and gives it to Pentagon. Dario butts in, and pays for it. However, the distraction is enough. Matanza uses the bat to club Pentagon in the back, then hits Wrath of the Gods.

Winner: Matanza Cueto.

Vamp attends to Pentagon post-match, but Pentagon now wants no part of him. Hmmmmmm.

4. Taya vs. Ivelisse.

Way too short given the talent in this match. Catrina butts in where she doesn't belong. The effects on this show wouldn't work anywhere else. Just as Ivey thinks she's got this one done after hitting Code Red, the lights go out, and Catrina appears, replacing the ref. Reverse full nelson drop. Catrina disappears. Taya recovers and hits a Northern Lights suplex, then a double foot stomp, for a cheap win.

Winner: Taya.

Catrina returns to give Ivey the lick of death after, so the feud is now between these two at last.

5. Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs. Prince Puma.

This is what's known as saving the best for last. Vamp suggested in commentary, and I have to admit I was thinking with him, that maybe Puma would turn heel here. No go. The black & orange mask is a new look for Puma, hence the tease. 619 whiffs for Rey, but Puma hits it. 2nd attempt blocked. However, Rey finally hits it, then hits a top rope West Coast Pop. Ballgame over.

Winner: Rey Mysterio, Jr..

Rey cedes the ring to Puma post-match, saluting the hometown hero.

Pentagon Dark returns and wipes out Striker with a superkick. He drags Vamp into the ring with the bat and destroys his now-former mentor, saying he himself is the master. Another storyline for season 3.

Meanwhile, something happened to Dario Cueto after Matanza's match. Dario has been arrested, presumably for the murder of Mr. Cisco. However that sinister smile tells us something else is coming. Well, of course you gotta figure Matanza will break his brother out of jail. Right?
