Detailed Results
Ultima Lucha Dos begins this week, and this time, it's in three parts. Part one is all about 4 An Unique Opportunity.

Instead of a logical fatal 4-way elimination match among The Mack, Texano, Jr., Cage, & Son Of Havoc, Dario Cueto decides to have a mini tournament. This way, the focus is on the "unique opportunity" gimmick for the whole hour.

1. The Mack vs. Cage.

Last year, these two led off Ultima Lucha Uno with a falls count anywhere match. Dario liked it so much, he's calling for the sequel. Beer, pinatas, and assorted other items come into play. Mack does his best Steve Austin by quaffing a couple of beers, giving Cage a double bird, then the stunner, but for 2, while Matt Striker shows he's forgotten how to do impersonations, as his Austin falls flat. Heck, I can do Austin better than Striker did. Anyway, Cage tries the curb stomp on a cinder block routine that won it for him last year, but slips on the wet floor, and Mack schoolboys him.

Winner: The Mack.

2. Son Of Havoc vs. Texano, Jr..

This one's a Boyle Heights bar fight, only because of the barroom seting. How many movies has Robert Rodriguez made that didn't have a barroom brawl in it? Digressing. Of course, there's broken glass, and two chairs gets crushed after Texano eats a Frankenhavoc off the top onto said chairs. Springboard Coup de Grace sets up a pump (Brogue) kick back onto the chairs, and that's that.

Winner: Son of Havoc.

Matt & Vampiro run down the card for the next two weeks.

3. Son Of Havoc vs. The Mack.

If Mack leaves and gets injured, then comes back, I'm begging them to get the rights to Mark Morrison's "Return of the Mack" from 20 years ago. Digressing again. Way too short. Mack's spent, Havoc less so, but the shooting star press doesn't exactly find its mark, landing as more of a headbutt.

Winner: Son of Havoc.

Dario & Black Lotus are out. Dario offers Havoc one of two briefcases. One has $250,000. The other, a contract for a title match at Ultima Lucha Tres "next year". Of course, Havoc takes the contract, but a Latino Howie Mandel, Dario ain't. El swerve-o. Havoc has to win one more match. I hate this.

4. Dr. Wagner, Jr. (w/Famous B & Brenda) vs. Son Of Havoc.

Infamous B turned heel 2 weeks ago and kicked Mascarita Sagrada to the curb, then gets paired with a 30 year veteran like Wagner, WHO DOESN'T NEED THE HELP! The way I look at it, Famous B never won a match, becomes a manager, and put his curse on Sagrada. However, Wagner, ah, breaks the curse, if you will. Havoc is unprepared. Dario would be happy to be arrested right about now, because this booking sucks. Doctor Driver (modified Michinoku Driver) ends this one quickly as we sign off.

Winner: Dr. Wagner, Jr..
