Pentagon, Jr. def. Fenix, Johnny Mundo, Taya, Ivelisse, & King Cuerno to become the #1 contender to the title.

Detailed Results
Only one match on tonight's card----Six To Survive, with the winner advancing to Ultima Lucha Dos on July 6 vs. Matanza Cueto.

King Cuerno vs. Taya vs. Ivelisse vs. Johnny Mundo vs. Pentagon, Jr. vs. Fenix.

To think that these six were a team in last week's main event, but tonight, it's every one for themselves.

The only real controversy of the night comes in the first fall, as Mil Muertes & Catrina return. The former champion spears Cuerno into the next county, then hits a less than emphatic powerbomb. Mundo capitalizes and hits End of the World to eliminate Cuerno. Muertes, satisfied, leaves, but his program with the hunter has started.

Mundo & Taya are the only real team in the match, no mention of the fact that Mundo is also 1/3 of the trios champs. Since all 6 were in the ring at the start, one can guess this match immediately followed last week's 12 person tag at the taping. Digressing. Inevitably, the women would face each other, and on this night, Taya got the better of Ivelisse after a Northern Lights suplex released to allow for a Kevin Sullivan double boot to the gut.

However, Taya suffers the consequences of war as well, as she is next to go, courtesy of Pentagon, who wipes her out with a package piledriver. Pentagon & Fenix team up on Mundo, and hit a variation on the Dudleys' old "Whassup" spot, except that Pentagon hit a missile dropkick to the nads. The two then combined to pin Mundo.

Now, it's down to the two men who've already faced Matanza for the title. Pentagon hit not one, but two Mexican (Canadian) Destroyers, the 2nd setting up another package piledriver to put this puppy to bed.

Winner: Pentagon, Jr..

Post-match, the Cuetos appear on the stairs, and Pentagon cuts a promo, promising to break every bone in each brother's body. Good luck with that, dude.
