Detailed Results
We open with a recap of the first two weeks.

Somewhere in the bowels of the Temple, Konnan talks to Dario Cueto about three guys he's brought in. We'll see them in the main event.

Jump cut inside the arena, and Cueto comes out to a somewhat mixed reaction. El Mariachi Loco is already in the ring for our first match.

1. El Mariachi Loco vs. Mascarita Sagrada.

Ok, I get it. Mariachi takes his name from one of co-executive producer Robert Rodriguez's films. This to me is similar to Son of Havoc vs. Sexy Star from two weeks ago, but for a different finish. Mariachi wastes too much time, ah, toying, if you will, with his opponent, and it costs him. Sagrada applies a guillotine choke, then rolls into an inside cradle for the win.

Winner: Mascarita Sagrada.

Post-match, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., in street clothes, hits the ring and lays out Sagrada. Well, there was a reason he was given the name, Lt. Loco, in WCW's Misfits in Action group, circa 2000.

Replays are shown of Guerrero's actions from last week and the last segment. In a segment that supposedly was taped in between shows, Vampiro sits down with Chavo. Guerrero claims he is tired of carrying the family name, and wants to forge his own identity. Well, it's been nearly 10 years since we lost his uncle Eddie, so I can see Chavo's point. Problem is, the best way to go about it isn't what he's doing now..........

Jump cut backstage. Konnan greets Chavo with a hug and warns him to leave for a while and lie low, since word got back to Mexico about what he did to Blue Demon, Jr., and they'll soon hear about his latest act. Konnan leaves, and Mil Muertes & Catrina appear. Catrina accuses Chavo of stealing something belonging to Muertes, which I assume has to do with Demon. Catrina licks Chavo's face. Expect Muertes-Guerrero in due course.

Backstory on Mil Muertes, narrated by Catrina. They'd like you to believe that Muertes was a 7 year old boy named Pasquale Mendoza, buried alive in the Mexican earthquake nearly 30 years ago. Where Rodriguez and/or Mark Burnett found the news footage, I don't know, but this is good stuff.

2. Mil Muertes (w/Catrina) vs. Ricky Mandel.

Striker said he knows Mandel. Probably from the Cali indies. El squashola. Mandel got the obligatory hope spot, but that was it. Muertes hit the Flatliner (Straight to Hell) and that was it.

Winner: Mil Muertes.

Catrina licks Mandel's face post-match.

Johnny Mundo is backstage, headed for Cueto's office. Cortez Castro & Cisco block his path, but Mundo squashes them like a couple of bugs. Storms into Cueto's office, and asks for a match with Big Ryck, which Cueto grants for next week. Cueto would later pay Ryck some serious cheddar to eliminate Mundo for good. Considering how the other two were treated like common trash, beaten within seconds, they're playing up Mundo as this promotion's answer to another guy named John.........

The story of Prince Puma, part 3, narrated by Konnan.

3. Drago vs. Pentagon, Jr. vs. Fenix.

These are the three guys Konnan was talking about. A 1-fall, triple threat main event, and, quite frankly, it was off the hook. You can't begin to keep up with the action. Jaw dropping from the jump. Air traffic control should've been on full alert. One spot saw Fenix hit a package piledriver on Drago, who walked right into a reverse piledriver, not quite a tombstone, from Pentagon. Poor Drago. Fenix finished him with a reverse huracanrana into a piledriver. Matt Striker had a hard time explaining it all.

Winner: Fenix.

Show ends with Cueto talking to someone we don't see, as he doesn't trust Big Ryck anymore......
