Detailed Results
Results first, then we'll cover the storylines.

1. Mascarita Sagrada vs. Dr. Wagner, Jr. (w/Famous B & Brenda).

Brenda looks fetching in a nurse's uniform, but the only time a nurse wears thigh high stockings is for costume parties, not on the job. Meh. Squash #1. Famous B claims to be retired, but he's a lazy goldbrick who wasn't going over anyone, so they'll push him as a Paul Heyman-type sports agent. Sagrada got a hope spot, nothing else. Wagner (Michinoku) Driver ends it in nothing flat.

Winner: Dr. Wagner, Jr..

2. Mil Muertes (w/Catrina) vs. Argenis.

Squash #2. Same deal as the first match. Argenis got a hope spot, but otherwise it was all Muertes. Reaper's Trident (spear) sets up the Flatliner, augumented by Matt Striker making the appropriate sound effects. Striker should run for public office. Problem is, the town of Geekville doesn't exist.

Winner: Mil Muertes.

Post-match, Prince Puma shows up, and runs off Muertes & Catrina to start a new program between the former champions.

3. Killshot vs. Marty Martinez.

Weapons of Mass Destruction match, and Marty's dressed in military gear, more to mock Killshot than anything else. His obsession with Melissa Santos remains as he uses Melissa as a human shield at one point. Martinez kicked out of the One Winged Angel, which made no sense, but Striker & Vampiro played up Marty like he was the 2nd coming of Raven, laughing through the pain, like he's mentally challenged. Ladders and tables were used, of course. Mariposa came out, in street clothes, to try to help her "brother", but ended up eating wood instead as Killshot kicked her through a table. Thanks for the cameo. Killshot ends it by hitting a double knee drive, sending Martinez through a 2nd table. Vamp should give Marty the number of his therapist after this one.

Winner: Killshot.

Storylines:

We flash back to the end of Ultima Lucha Dos and the death of Mr. Cisco. Captain Vasquez heard it all, along with officers Reyes & Meehan (Cortez Castro & Joey Ryan), who end up in a brief scuffle over a difference of opinion. Reyes is suspended, but then aligns with Vasquez for the war that is coming. As it turns out, Vasquez & Catrina have halves of a mystic amulet that was passed down to one of them more than a thousand years ago, and the joining of the amulet is something Catrina wants to ensure eternal life. Joey gives up his dual ID---and outs Castro in the process---to Dario Cueto, and aligns with Dario. Oh, the drama.
