Dario Cueto has Alberto El Patron in his office to start. Alberto wants Texano, Jr., and no substitutes. Fearing that his office will be wrecked, Cueto concedes.
1. Fenix vs. Mil Muertes.
The soap opera that this feud has become continues. Catrina doesn't show up until late in the match again. However, this time, Muertes is in total control after grounding Fenix. One flatliner is all he needs.
Winner: Mil Muertes.
Post-match, Muertes confronts Catrina, who has that stone in her hand, which, Matt Striker tells us, came from the rubble where Muertes was found as a child. Catrina drops the stone. Fenix picks it up, and clocks Muertes with it, then hits Trouble in Paradise (spinning enziguri), and leaves Muertes lying. Catrina gives Muertes the lick of death, completing the turn, and makes out with Fenix. Oh, brother.
Is Konnan planning a comeback? Don't bet on it.
In the office, Cueto sets up a rematch for next week between Ivelisse and Angelico----with Son of Havoc as the guest ref. I don't like the smell of this one.
Prince Puma is in training, and meets El Patron, who warns that he is coming for the LU title. But, then, you knew that.
2. Sexy Star vs. Big Ryck.
Winner gets a handicap match vs. the Crew. Ryck, being old school at heart, wants no part of fighting a woman, and no sells Sexy's offense. Finally, he goes on offense, and sets up for what we used to call the Book of Ezekiel (back when he was Ezekiel Jackson), but instead, he gently lays Sexy down and holds her shoulders down for the pin.
Winner: Big Ryck.
Post-match, to the surprise of no one, the Crew show up. Sexy gets laid out with the Crew Killer (3D into a codebreaker), but when they go after Ryck, Sexy pops back up to help. Chivalry gives way to respect, and now Ryck knows he has someone watching his back.......
3. Non-title: Alberto El Patron vs. Texano, Jr..
A pre-recorded interview with El Patron is shown, rehashing what he'd said before, without mentioning WWE by name, but addressing the sitch that got him fired last year. Anyway, you can forget about restholds and scientific wrestling. This degenerates into a fight. Texano unties a turnbuckle cover, but as ref Marty Elias fixes it, Texano uses his bullrope to get some cheap shots in. However, the rope comes into play again, as Alberto succumbs to temptation and proceeds to serve up a receipt, getting a DQ in the process.
Winner: Texano, Jr..
Back to the office. King Cuerno, wearing a cowboy hat, will face Johnny Mundo in a cage match next week. He thinks he'll add Johnny to his trophy wall. Don't be so sure.
