Detailed Results
I have been attending live events on and off for 32 years. I hadn't seen a crowd this hot for a show since the then-WWF's 1st show at what is now Times Union Center in Albany 25 years ago. The house was packed, almost to capacity.

Unfortunately, there were a few issues. The sound system swallowed most of the entrance music. Ring announcer JoJo's mic was cutting out, and because of that, she couldn't sing the national anthem. Instead, they played a recorded instrumental version that has been used forever. The house lights were kept off until intermission, leaving fans to scramble to get penlights to find their seats. This same venue, the Washington Avenue Armory, lost its liquor license 2 months ago when a rap group delayed their set until well after midnight, and caused a riot. The idiots in charge didn't learn their lessons.

Half of what Greg Hamilton was saying was lost to the sound system as well. Give me a break. The first major pop of the night went to William Regal. The NXT GM, in a short speech, deflected the chants of "Regal! Regal!", and said it wasn't about him, but the NXT talent. Same speech he gave in Philadelphia 2 nights earlier.

1. NXT tag titles: Blake & Murphy vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady (w/Carmella).

Carmella is so cute. Blake looks like the love child of Adrian Street and Cindy Brady with those pig tails. I am not kidding. Blake botched a corner spot on Amore, which of course led to chants of "You F'd Up!". Amore got a schoolboy for 2, but then, Murphy hit one of his own to retain. Couldn't really tell, but it looked like he put a foot on the rope that he didn't need.

Winners: Blake & Murphy.

2. Solomon Crowe vs. Bull Dempsey.

Bull got the pop from the power marks at ringside, and controlled most of the match. Crowe tried to slam him twice, and failed. Of course, he hit it on the 3rd try, then applied the Stretch Muffler (Brock Lock) to get the tapout.

Winner: Solomon Crowe.

3. Tye Dillinger vs. Jason Jordan.

Dillinger got a face pop coming out, and they did a comedy bit where he kept holding up "10" signs, all of which the ref took away. Funny. Jordan got the heat, and "You're a zero!" chants, as the Albany crowd favored Dillinger, who won with a superkick.

Winner: Tye Dillinger.

4. NXT women's title: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte.

Both women got face pops coming out, and dueling chants, like some of the guys would. With Charlotte, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and she's more talented than big brother David Flair was in the late 90's. Bram is a lucky man. Sasha should use cousin Snoop Dogg's old music for her entrance. Problem is, there ain't much there that doesn't reference drugs, and.....! Charlotte did the Flair Flop, which got a phat pop. Albany was easy to please tonight. Sasha teased the figure four, so of course, Charlotte applied it. Sasha countered, and they rolled to the ropes to force a break. Banks then went to a facelock, not quite the Bank Statement finisher, but after Charlotte countered three different times, Banks then applied the Statement. Charlotte tapped.

I guess, as Snoop would say, Sasha paid tha cost to be tha boss.

Winner: Sasha Banks.

They finally turned the house lights on at intermission. This is beyond embarrassing.

5. Baron Corbin vs. Tommy Dreamer.

Same deal as in Philly last night. Only thing is, of course, Dreamer had been across the river in Troy just 4 months ago, so the pop coming out was just ridiculous. Amazing how Corbin has turned heel so quickly. I see him moving up before the end of the year. Dreamer hit the DDT, just barely, and got 2. Went for the Dreamer Driver, but Corbin got out of that and hit End of Days. Hasta la vista, Tommy.

Winner: Baron Corbin.

6. Becky Lynch & Dana Brooke vs. Alexa Bliss & Bayley.

If the ringside tickets weren't so freaking expensive, I'd have gotten one just to get close to Alexa & Bayley. Oh, they're SO cute. Crowd absolutely hated Dana, but got a chant for Becky when Dana was in the ring. Go figure. They even called for Blue Pants, who wasn't even there. It came down to Dana & Bayley. One hugplex later, and it's over.

Winners: Alexa Bliss & Bayley.

7. NXT title: Kevin Owens vs. Tyler Breeze vs. Finn Balor.

Owens got a ginormous pop coming out. Most folks in my area have waited three years to see him, dating back to when ROH first aired here. Breeze looks like a cross between Shawn Michaels, Christian, and Derek Zoolander. Looks like he got the pout from Zoolander. There was a delay before Balor came out, as the ring lights went out briefly. What else could go wrong?

Owens sat out the first few minutes like he did in Philly 2 nights earlier, and got a chant of "Sit, Owens, sit!", which was funny. There was some silly stuff between him & Breeze. While Tyler plays to the crowd, Owens takes a well deserved bow. Owens hit the 5 Knuckle Shuffle (!) on Balor for 2. Even did "You Can't See Me!", which the crowd called. They loved it. Owens hit the Swanton for 2, which got a big pop. Breeze KO'd Balor with the Supermodel kick, then went for, I guess, a Frankensteiner, only to walk right into a powerbomb. Ballgame.

Winner: Kevin Owens.

Post-match, Owens & Balor went at it. Balor hit Owens on the floor with the double foot stomp, then cut a promo for the next Takeover show, then bade the fans good night.
