Detailed Results
1. The Briscoes vs. the Kingdom (Michael Bennett & Matt Taven w/Maria Kanellis).

Not much to this one. They started by brawling all over the arena, and it wasn't until after the break that they finally got an official start to the match. Unfortunately, it was kept short. Jay Briscoe, the World champ, had Taven set for the Jay Driller, but Bennett, using his wife's title of love, the belt stolen from Briscoe, whacked Briscoe across the head for the intentional DQ. They doubled on the champ, and when Maria stood over him, that's when an unexpected ally showed up in the form of former TNA star ODB, who chased off the Kingdom. In an interview with Kevin Kelly, ODB said the "B" now stands for Briscoe, so this will set up a six-person tag, and Maria now has someone to fight.

Winners: The Briscoes.

Hanson speaks! Last year's Top Prospect winner cuts a promo for the 13th anniversary show on 3/1, and references winning last year's tournament.

2. 2015 Top Prospect tournament, 1st round: Beer City Brusier vs. Mikey Webb.

Not the squash you'd think it is. Caprice Coleman joins Kevin & Steve Corino for this one. Corino brings up the late Bastion Booger, as well as Vader, in discussing the Bruiser, as they're putting over his hygenic issues. They said he was trained by Harley Race. Webb gave it his best, but the Bruiser put him down for good with the 2 Day Hangover, which Coleman recognized as Greetings From Asbury Park, the signature of the late Bam Bam Bigelow.

Winner: Beer City Bruiser.

Jimmy Jacobs promo. They're building to something with Roderick Strong still.

3. Alberto El Patron vs. Christopher Daniels.

Easily the best match on the show. Total babyface match, as the fans chanted "Fallen Angel" just as much as they sang out, "Si! Si! Si!", which, of course, carried over from El Patron's run in WWE. Before the final break, Jay Lethal came out and joined the announcers, still complaining about being dissed last week. Daniels went for the Koji Clutch, but El Patron forced a rope break. Toward the end of the match, Daniels set up for the Best Moonsault Ever, but El Patron rolled out of the way. Enziguri. Armbreaker, float-over into the cross-armbreaker. Daniels taps.

Winner: Alberto El Patron.

The two adhered to the Code of Honor before Daniels left the ring to let El Patron soak up the cheers. Lethal entered, and talked trash. They started fighting before J. Diesel & Truth Martini made it 3-on-1. Back comes Daniels, this time with Frankie Kazarian, to clear out the House of (no) Truth. Looks like another tag match may be made.
