Detailed Results
From Lakeland:

1. QT Marshall vs. Cheeseburger.

Not the squash you'd think. Kevin Kelly brought up that Marshall, last seen as RD Evans' tag partner, had left ROH because his mouth got him in trouble. Presumably, that means something happened behind the scenes that we otherwise know zilch about. Cheeseburger got plenty of hope spots, but in the end, Marshall put him away with a sit out dominator.

Winner: QT Marshall.

Marshall grabbed a mic and cut a promo complaining about not being at Final Battle next week, which means he may be there. He called out Jay Briscoe. Bad idea.......

2. Non-title: Jay Briscoe vs. Marshall.

Squash. Marshall was spent from the earlier match, and didn't have anything left. If he's not at Final Battle, this may be Marshall's farewell. Jay Driller ends it quickly.

Winner: Jay Briscoe.

3. Adam Page (w/BJ Whitmer) vs. Aaron Snow.

Squash #2, although Snow got the same number of hope spots as Cheeseburger did. Page ends it with the Omori Driver. Thankfully, he didn't add a 2nd one post-match, like he did in his last solo match.

Winner: Adam Page.

Post-match: Page cut a promo on Roderick Strong for Final Battle, so of course Strong showed up and chased his former mates away.

4. Adam Cole vs. Matt Sydal.

TV champ Jay Lethal, flying solo this week, is at the desk. Spends too much time running down Sydal's chances of beating him at Final Battle, so of course, that suggests the opposite. Lethal's vocal inflections are his way of impersonating Ric Flair, one of his heroes. If you haven't noticed this in his promos of late, you should be embarrassed. Lethal's non-stop chatter took a lot away from this match, and of course Lethal had to get involved. The sooner they get him away from Truth Martini, the better. Twice, Lethal got on the apron to distract Sydal. Ref should've tossed him the first time. Period. Cole took advantage and superkicked Sydal off the top, setting up the Florida Key.

Winner: Adam Cole.

Post-match, Lethal left the desk, and started his own attack. It spilled to the floor, which left Cole all alone, with no Kingdom backup, to get ambushed in turn by Jay Briscoe. Tomasso Ciampa joined the party, but the show ended with Sydal recovering and hitting a shooting star press to the floor on all 4 guys.
