Detailed Results
From Kalamazoo:

1. Moose (w/Stokely Hathaway) vs. Dominick Carter.

Squash. They adhere to the Code of Honor, then Moose kills Carter with a spear in under 10 seconds.

Winner: Moose.

Hathaway cuts a promo calling out Michael Elgin. Bad idea, teasing a heel turn for Moose. Elgin comes out, and Moose, finally speaking for himself after being prompted by Elgin, agrees to a match.

Enter Truth Martini, who has finally added some girl power to the House of No Truth in the form of former TNA wrestler Taeler Hendrix, who lasted about three cups of coffee in the Impact Zone. Elgin, who is married to Ms. Chif, took a page from the Ric Flair playbook, making a play for Hendrix. We have a tag match.....

2. Donovan Dijak and Joey Diesel Diggidaddio (formerly J. Diesel) w/Truth Martini & Taeler Hendrix vs. Moose (w/Stokely Hathaway) & Michael Elgin.

The gimmick/name change for the former J. Diesel doesn't do him any favors, in this writer's opinion. He's still a green rookie who needs to get away from the parasitic Martini. It's stressed that the House is banned from the TV title match. Good call. Can't really say there was a face in peril, since they couldn't sustain the heat on either Elgin or Moose, who played the roles of partners-that-couldn't-get-along. Finish saw a blind tag to Elgin, who buckle-bombed Diggidaddio, and then Moose finished him with the spear.

Winners: Moose & Michael Elgin.

Story time with Adam Cole can be skipped, folks. Mandy Leon can't come back soon enough to end this self-serving gaga.

BJ Whitmer and the Decade are in the ring. Whitmer accuses Steve Corino of being a coward by retiring. Nigel McGuinness leaves the desk and gives Whitmer some more bad news. The Decade is barred from Final Battle!

3. Ring of Honor TV title: Jay Lethal vs. Roderick Strong.

A 2nd ref has been assigned to this match to ensure the HOT doesn't try to show up. Easily the best match on the show. Both men did their usual spots. Strong had cut a promo earlier saying he knows he can beat Lethal, and that Lethal has escaped their last two bouts, the 2nd with Martini and friends butting in. Not this time. Lethal hit the Lethal Injection, but Strong kicked out. Strong hit the End of Heartache (Lumbar Check) for 2. Sick Kick leads to the Stronghold (Boston Crab). Lethal can't reach the ropes and taps. We have a new TV champion!

Winner: Roderick Strong.

Next week: Adam Cole vs. Dalton Castle.
