Detailed Results
From San Antonio:

1. Matt Sydal vs. ACH.

Match 4 in the best of 5 between the erstwhile tag partners. As this show is airing, Sydal is in Japan. He's working subtle heel here, as was the case vs. Kushida two weeks ago. Air traffic control, of course, had to be on full alert.

The two traded holds and counters, and blocked each other's key moves, including Sydal getting the knees up on the Midnight Star (450 splash). That set up the Shooting Star press. Sydal bounced off ACH, but came back and collected the 3 count.

Winner: Matt Sydal.

Post-match, the Addiction and Chris Sabin ambushed the two competitors, with both laid out after Celebrity Rehab. After a break, Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels cut a promo claiming they're still the tag champs even though they didn't figure in the decision with the Kingdom winning the tag titles the night before at All-Star Extravaganza. Sabin said nothing. Kevin Kelly said that he thought Sabin had donned a red KRD mask and interfered in the title match, but Daniels claimed someone else, albeit unknown, did. Tit for tat, eh?

Enter the All Night Express. Rhett Titus has shed the guise of the Romantic Touch after 2 1/2 years, reunited with Kenny King, fresh from TNA. ANX vs. Addiction next week.

2. Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser vs. "The Boys".

Young needed a low blow to beat Dalton Castle at ASE, and Castle "hasn't been seen since". The boys have their masks taken away, and will undergo the first step toward becoming "real men"---and that means getting squashed. Bruiser did most of the work, but it was Young picking up the win with Misery, a spinning TKO.

Winners: Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser.

Inside ROH: Mandy Leon looks at Adam Cole's betrayal of Kyle O'Reilly at ASE. Comments from Cole & reDRagon. So Cole never really left the Kingdom. Meh.

3. ROH TV title: Jay Lethal (w/Truth Martini) vs. Takaki Watanabe.

I'll be brief. For matches like this, you need to banish Martini to the locker room, and leave him there. He got involved early, and had Todd Sinclair caught him, Martini gets tossed. My message to the bookers: Change the story. Martini must be banned from all future title matches. Watanabe was never given a fair chance. Martini slid in the Book of Truth to distract Sinclair. A low blow sets up the Lethal Injection.

"Winner" (because he really isn't): Jay Lethal.

The fans begin chanting for AJ Styles, who should be the next challenger for the World title, but I'll explain why ROH needs to change the booking in the Reaction Zone. Martini & Lethal leave like a couple of cowards.
