WWE Main Event kicks off with a recap of the events between The Authority, Randy Orton, Batista, Daniel Bryan, and The Shield from last night’s Monday Night RAW.

Main Event kicks off in huge fashion with The Shield making their entrance for their 6-Man tag team match with The Wyatts in a rematch of WWE’s two premiere factions.

The Wyatts announce to the CajunDome “They’re here.” The announcers state that since WrestleMania, the Wyatt’s level of creepiness has evolved significantly. The Wyatt take heor time to het on yehe apron to start the match.

Match 1:
The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family



The referee eventually postures to ring the bell and we see Dean Ambrose and Erick Rowan start the action off. Ambrose slaps Rowan’s sheep mask off his face and gets in a flurry of offense in and tags in Seth Rollins. Rollins is physically beaten down by Rowan following the double suplex. Rollins is sent to a corner and fights his way out of it with chops and kicks and is eventually backed into the Shield’s corner. Rollins puts Rowan in some sort of modified Hell’s Gate that has Rowan writhing in pain. Rowan tries to get back to his feet but it takes the Wyatt to get into the ring so Rollins can break the hold. This prompts Reigns and Ambrose to get into the ring and all 6-Man face off in the ring as they cut to commercial break.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Main Event, Rollins finds himself bening sent to the mat following a devastating facecrusher at the hands of Bray Wyatt. Rowan tags back in and uses the ropes to rip Rollins; face off. As the ref admonishes Rowan, Harper gets in a cheap shot. Rowan continues to grind Rollins into the mat and follows it up with a big back suplex for a two count. Harper tags in and whips Rollins to the apron like a rag doll. Harper does his “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah” taunt as he continues to beat Rollins down in the corner. Rollins flips to his feet and sends harper’s head into the turnbuckle. Hot tag to Reigns and Reigns takes down all three members of The Wyatt family.

Reigns tags in Ambrose and they hit a 3D like maneuver for a two count. Ambrose is caught by a huge big boot from Harper for a two county. Wyatt tags in and absolutely collides into Ambrose. Ambrose is reeling on the floor and Rowan is tagged back in and following a scoop slam, digs his knuckles into the temple of Ambrose. Ambrose feeds of the crowd to get to his feet but is stopped by a sidewalk slam that only nets a two count.

Ambrose is propped up in the wrong corner and Harper tags in and is on the receiving end of a bad beating. Ambrose is still fighting back but he is forced back into the Wyatt corner and Rowan tags back in and continues the onslaught with a huge right hand. Rowan is ripping at Ambrose’s face but Ambrose feeds off the crowd to build some momentum. Ambrose is sent outside but tries to hold on ala Shawn Michaels. As he is tried to do the flip back into the ring, Rowan boots Ambrose to the floor

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, Wyatt throws Ambrose back into the ring and tags in Harper who performs the gator roll to wear down Ambrose further. Ambrose once again tries to feed of the crowd and gets some breathing from a jawbreaker. However, Luke Harper performs a facebuster that quells all momentum. Wyatt tags back in and attacks a defenseless Ambrose on the apron. As action returns to the ring, Wyatt chokes Ambrose with his feet in the corner and tags Rowan back in.

Ambrose is whipped into a corner and on the rebound Rowan catches Ambrose in a bear hug. Ambrose begins raking the eyes and eventually counters the bear-hug into a sleeper hold. This doesn’t last as Rowan falls backward to break the hold. Harper tags in and scores with two great European uppercuts. A third one scores but Ambrose bounces off the apron for the clothesline.

Wyatt tags in and Ambrose tries to fight him off but is trapped on the apron with nowhere to go. Wyatt looks for the superplex but Ambrose holds on after two attempts. Ambrose head-butts Wyatt off the apron but is caught in that Uranage-like slam. After Rollins breaks up the pin, the match breaks down and Rowan and Harper take out Reigns and Rollins. In the ring, Ambrose counters the Sister Abigail into a schoolboy and following the kick out by Wyatt; he hits a DDT that leaves both men floored

Rollins and Rowan tag in and Rollins dumps Rowan out of the ring. Rollins dropkicks Harper and Rowan repeatedly8 off the opposite aprons and he fishes it with a springboard splash on Rowan. Both men return to the ring and Rollins hits his Sethwalker on Rowan but Harper breaks it up, chaos ensues once again and Roman Reigns hits a superman punch on Wyatt but is tossed out by Rowan. Ambrose tags in and following a curb stomp by Rollins to the defenseless Rowan, Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds on Rowan for the exciting victory.

Winners via pinfall: The Shield in 20 minutes

In the ring, Renee Young congratulates The Sheild on the victory over the Wyatt Family. Dean Ambrose seems to get seriously injured of he may be selling like a pro. The Shield talk on their issues and proclaim that they are not faceless and they are not anonymous. Roman Reigns states that he has a name. He asks the CajunDome what his name was and the crowd breaks into a huge “Roman Reigns” chant.

Renee Young asks if they fear the repercussions of their actions against The Authority. Rollins responds believe that they are prepared for war and the fight injustices, no greater one currently than The Authority. Rollins caps it off by stating the Shield mantra: Believe That: & Believe In The Shield.

We get a preview of the upcoming match between Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger

-Commercial Break features the vignette for Adam Rose”

The announcers play up how impactful The Streak was to mainstream culture and how Paul Heyman was correct in his assertion that Brock Lesnar was the only man on Earth capable of ending the Streak.

We then see a highlight package for WrestleMania XXX featuring a highlight reel of sorts for the past 29 Mania events.

Following the package, Jack Swagger makes his way to the ring with Zeb Colter by his side.

-Commercial Break features WWE’s ‘Thank You’ video to the WWE Universe-

Back in the ring, Zeb spoke on Cesaro defecting from the Real Americans to become a Paul Heyman Guy. Zeb states that “once a sneaky immigrant, always a sneaky immigrant.” Zeb states that the mission remains the same: To rid the WWE and the country of all illegal immigrants. Zeb and Swagger lead the crowd in a nice “We The People” pledge, although it isn’t as big without Cesaro.

Match 2:
Dolph Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter



Ziggler makes his way out to the ring and the match starts off fast with both men getting in quick offense. Swagger starts to dominate Ziggler with rapid knees in succession in the corner followed by a clothesline that nets Swagger a two count. Swagger locks Zigger in chickenwing but Ziggler feeds off the fans to get to a vertical base and dumps him out the ring. When Swagger rushes back to the ring, Ziggler hits him with a flying cross body for a two count. Then Ziggler goes on the apron and scores ten hits but when he goes for the neck breaker, it is countered and Swagger targets the leg.

Swagger tries to apply the Patriot Lock but Ziggler squirms out of it and scores a Fameasser for a two count. Ziggler looks for the Zig Zag but meets a big boot from Swagger instead. Ziggler is still reeling and is favoring his left leg. Swagger looks for the gutwrench suplex but Ziggler counters into his Jumoing DDT for a two count. Ziggler tries to powerbomb Ziggler but Ziggler rolls into a pinning combination that sees Swagger kicks out of two count. Ziggler charges at Swagger but Swagger tosses Ziggler into the air and catches him in the Patriot Lock. Moments later, Ziggler taps out

Winner via submission: Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter in 4 minutes.

The announcers talk up the fact that Alenander Rusev will be in action following the commercial break.

-Commercial Break for WWE Studios’ film Oculus-

We see the promo for The WWE WrestleMania Journey for Daniel Bryan that will immediately follow WWE Main Event

Vignette for Bo Dallas

Following the commercial breaks, Sin Cara makes his way to the ring for the main event of WWE Main Event this evening.

Tony Chimel introduces the ‘Ravishing Russian’ Lana. She comes out and introduces the “Super Athlete’ Alexander Rusev

Main Event:
Alexander Rusev w/Lana vs. Sin Cara



Sin Cara caputilzes on the speed advantage to get an early advantage but it is immediately stopped by a side shuffle kick from Rusev. Rusev hits a sideslam and immediately puts Sin Cara in the accolade for the submission victory.

Winner via submission: Alexander Rusev w/Lana in under a minute.

Just announced for SmackDown! ahuge six-man tag team match:
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and the WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos will take on WWE Director Of Operations Kane and Evolution (Randy Orton & Batista)

Main Event fades out.
