Undertaker's Streak Had Last Minutes Outcome Change

Despite reports to the contrary, it was not the Undertaker’s decision to end his legendary undefeated streak at WrestleMania XXX. The belief, however, is that if he didn’t want to the Streak to end, he could have strongly vocalized his opinion and it probably wouldn’t have ended. Regardless, Vince McMahon made the call to have Brock Lesnar snap the Streak.

Another interesting note is that the original plan for the match going into WrestleMania was for Undertaker to defeat Brock Lesnar, however a few days before the show, McMahon changed his mind an opted for Lesnar. The feeling internally is that McMahon is very aware of Undertaker’s physical condition and the chance that this was going to be his last match, and decided that if the streak was ever going to be broken, it was now or never.

As far as Undertaker’s reaction, as previously reported, there have been conflicting reports since the referee's hand came down for the final count. One friend of Undertaker's said that he had to be talked into it, while another individual who would likely know, said that he didn’t argue the decision at all.
