WWE Not Happy With Former Writer Speaking Out, Possible Lawsuit To Follow

Recently fired WWE writer Kevin Marshall has been getting heat with WWE higher-ups for disclosing the inner workings of his job on the creative team during recent podcasts and message board postings. WWE has taken great strides in recent years to keep the inner workings of the creative team a secret, fearing that it could damage relationships with talent and expose future plans.

Those on the creative team are watching this one very carefully as there is a belief that he has violated the confidentiality agreement he signed when starting with the company and later acknowledged in release papers after being terminated. If WWE were to take legal action, they would likely sue over disclosing trade secrets and violating a nondisclosure agreement.

Marshall was fired from the company this past summer. Prior to WWE, Marshall was a freelance blogger and is a stand-up comedian.
