Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Chris Jericho has returned to World Wrestling Entertainment and has already been placed in the top spot in a feud with Randy Orton. My opinions are as follows.
Short term, I think the acquisition of Jericho will at least spice up television and PPV for everybody who watches wrestling on a regular basis. I also think that Chris Jericho is one of the best when it comes to promos who is currently on the roster, and will freshen things up in that department. Hopefully, others within the company can learn from Chris, because many of the current guys can either talk (Santino for example), or they can wrestle (Shelton Benjamin), but cannot do both. I know it is hard to master both sides of the business, but you must to become successful.
Long term, Chris Jericho will help many of the younger talent get over to one degree or another. Simply putting someone in a program with Jericho will enhance the talent's value by default. Hopefully, Chris will remain around after his current contract expires, because the younger guys in this business could use his experience and mind to get themselves where they belong.
