Sometimes, regardless of the fact that you want don’t want to admit it, you sense that someone is a Natural Born Leader. If I could use one phrase to describe “The Guardian of Chaos” Big Daddy , that would be it. He has managed wrestlers all over the world in his 20+ years in this business, but Northeast Wrestling is his home. I was lucky enough (his words, not mine) to have a few minutes to speak with him recently, and this is what he had to say during the in character part of the interview:

MB - Recently, I heard a rumor that Big Daddy is going to be making a challenge for Team 3-D in Newburgh , NY . Do you care to let the fans know a little more about this challenge and/or what you have in store for them?

Big Daddy – Let me tell you something right off the bat, punk! If there was one team I had to choose to hate the most, Team 3-D would be it! They got the best of me and my team The Outcast Killaz at "Holiday Havoc" in Terryville, CT in December. They embarrassed me and that doesn’t happen very often! But I promise you this - there will be nowhere to run for Team 3-D in Newburgh on April 28th! Me and my crew The Outkast Killaz, the best tag team in NEW today, are going to get our revenge, of that you can be certain. I had a talk with an old friend recently, you know him by the name of Homicide! Well, Homicide and I go way back, and lets just say that there are a lot of things I know that they may not think I know!

MB - Wrestlefest XI takes place in Bristol , CT on Sunday, April 22nd. What does Big Daddy have planned for this historic evening?

Big Daddy – So you want a little inside info, do you? Well - that’s not going to happen! Wrestlefest is going to be one of the best events of the year! I have some big plans for that night, but none of it is your - or anybody else’s - business! Pay your money to come see Big Daddy – because you know I’m coming with both barrels loaded!

MB - What has been the biggest highlight of your career thus far?

Big Daddy – I’ve been all over the world in my pro wrestling career. As I like to say it, from Yale to jail! Anybody who is anybody in this business has at one time or another had Big Daddy on their side! I’ve seen it all and done it all. Worked with all the stars of the past, present and future! And if you want to be a star, them I’m the one you need to get you there!

MB – Which leads me into my next question. Is there any one wrestler who, with your help, do you feel could challenge for the Northeast Wrestling Title?

Big Daddy – I’ve been focused on the tag team scene lately, with Sex and Violence and The Outkast Killaz and wreaking havoc at every NEW show we appear on! But here is a news flash for all of you – I actually think Xavier is a fantastic wrestler and a worthy champion! But, if he wants to hang onto that belt for any length of time, especially with Michael O’Brien bringing in the best talent from all over the world, he needs to hook up with Big Daddy! I would assure him – no, guarantee him – that with me at his side, that he would have the longest reign in NEW history!

MB – But he’s already the champion….

Big Daddy – You just don’t quit, do you? You need to shut up! Listen, I’ll let you in on another little secret, and you should thank your lucky stars I’m feeling generous today. I’ve been talking with The Monster Abyss lately. Well, as much as you can talk to a monster. And he knows I’ve been scouting him for months! With me, Abyss could easily win the NEW title, from whoever is holding it!

MB – Finally, do you have any parting thoughts?

Big Daddy – I want to thank the fans for making me the most well known unknown in the business. And I’ve said it a million times, and ill say it until the end of time. There are three types of people in this world. Those who don’t know what happened. Those who wonder what happened. And people like “The Guardian of Chaos” Big Daddy, who make things happen!
