March 6th: ROH World Champion Takeshi Morishima retained the title by defeating KENTA in Tokyo on 3/4 in front of over 13,500 fans in the main event of NOAH's huge Budokan Hall event. Morishima's next defense will be on 4/14 in Edison, NJ when he faces Nigel McGuinness. Nigel is coming off a huge win over Jimmy Rave in a Fight Without Honor last Sunday. McGuinness' rebound lariat pinned Samoa Joe on 2/24 in Chicago. Will the rebound lariat bring Nigel the World Title? Morishima is also signed to be at ROH events on 4/13 in Long Island, 4/27 in St. Paul and 4/28 in Chicago. We'll have news on all these shows soon. March 6th: In case you missed it, Naruki Doi & Shingo shocked everyone by winning the ROH World Tag Team Titles from Jay & Mark Briscoe last Saturday in Liverpool. This was the first defense by The Briscoes, who many predicted would have a long title reign. Doi & Shingo already made their first successful defense as they defeated Roderick Strong & Davey Richards last Sunday. Doi & Shingo will make their next defense on 3/30 in Detroit at "All Star Extravaganza III" when they give Jay & Mark Briscoe their rematch.
