CWNJ: "Triple Shot Weekend" In April Live From New Jersey 4/19 - 4/21
Written by: Indi Reporter on 3/16/2007

CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM NEW JERSEY DEBUTS WITH TRIPLE SHOT WEEKEND IN APRIL FOR THE "IT'S NOT OVER!" WEEKEND TOUR

Championship Wrestling From New Jersey, formerly known as Independent Superstars of Professional Wrestling (ISPW), makes it's debut next month, which will include a string of three shows in a row beginning on April 19th in Brick, NJ at Brick Township High School, April 20th in Clayton, NJ at Clayton High School, and April 21st in Newton, NJ at Newton High School. These three events will all be a part of Championship Wrestling From New Jersey's "It's Not Over!" Weekend Tour.

Headlining the action that weekend will be a Fatal Four Way-Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match on April 21st in Newton, NJ at Newton High School for the Championship Wrestling From New Jersey Heavyweight Title. The match will pit former four time ISPW Heavyweight Champion "Mr. Main Event" Ace Darling vs. Crowbar vs. Danny Gimondo vs. Judas Young. This will be the first time Gimondo returns to New Jersey since being released by World Wrestling Entertainment a few months back. Championship Wrestling From New Jersey is very excited to be presenting independent wrestling fans with such a huge match.

The four men in this Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match will be seeing more of each other that weekend as well. In a pair of preview matches, Darling will take on Crowbar in a 30 Minute Iron Man Match on April 19th in Brick, NJ at Brick Township High School and Young will go one one one with Gimondo. On the second night of action in Clayton, NJ at Clayton High School, three of the four men will also be competing at "Twas The Night Before The Title." Crowbar will take on "Lumberjack" Rick Fuller, Gimondo takes on Marty Jannetty, and Young battles Ohio Valley Wrestling's Stronko. Darling refuses to compete the night before the title match, stating he's earned the night off since he was a former four time ISPW Champion.

Crowbar, Darling, and Gimondo have a long time relationship of battling each other for well over ten years in the wrestling business, as all of them broke in the business around the same time. They traveled all over the East Coast for many years wrestling each other on countless Independent wrestling shows. This will be the first time the three men step in the same ring with each other in over seven years. They are without question the three biggest independent names to ever come out of New Jersey and that's why they have been signed to compete in this special match to crown the first ever Heavyweight Champion for Championship Wrestling From New Jersey.

Young rounds out the forth spot for this championship match, a very talented in ring performer that was originally trained by the late, great, "Flyboy"Rocco Rock. Young is currently one of professional wrestling's best kept secrets. He recently competed for World Wrestling Entertainment this past week, wrestling "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan in a match that will air on Heat this Friday on WWE.com. Young is one of the most underrated talents in all of wrestling and is coming to Championship Wrestling From New Jersey to show everyone exactly why "Punks Not Dead!"

Other wrestlers competing that weekend include former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion, Marty Jannetty; Current Ohio Valley Wrestling star Stronko; former WCW wrestler "Lumberjack" Rick Fuller; former ECW/TNA star Julio Deniro; former ECW star Christian York, long time independent veteran "Surfer" Ray Odyssey; Overseas star Alofa The Samoan; independent standouts such as Josh Daniels, Rob Eckos, and Nicky Benz, and many more.

Championship Wrestling From New Jersey promises to deliver a different independent product than what you're currently watching. We plan to showcase our events on a unique level that fans aren't currently in tuned to seeing. We intend to add some "pop culture" to our promotion. We will be the independent wrestling alternative.
