Round 1 – Varner with a few vicious slams, one which drops Leggett on his head and shoulder. Varner is penalized 1 point for strikes to the back of Leggett’s head. Varner hits 2 head kicks on Leggett, one flush on Leggett’s cheek. Varner eventually rear mounts Leggett and unloads vicious strikes to Leggett’s head and Steve Mazagatti stops the fight with :54 left in round 1.

Welterweights – Tiki v. Blas Avena

Round 1 – Avena immediately shoots and gets a takedown and a rear mount. Tiki fights off Avena’s first attempts at a rear naked choke but Avena eventually cinches the choke in and gets the tap out at 3:59 of round 1.

Featherweights – Jeff Curran v. Stephen Lebetter:

Round 1 - Curran hits Ledbetter flush in the face with a right hook which sent Ledbetter to one knee. Ledbetter immediately stands back up. Ledbetter gets a takedown but Curran’s guard is excellent and Yves Levine stands the fighters up. Ledbetter gets a takedown but Curran stands back up and the round ends.

Round 2 – Ledbetter with a takedown and Curran gets back to his feet. Ledbetter gets a second takedown towards the latter half of the round. Curran cinches in a triangle choke but Ledbetter is saved by the bell.

Round 3 – Curran lands some punches to the head and a body kick. Ledbetter gets a takedown. Curran lands elbows on Ledbetter from the bottom. Levine stands up the fighters. Curran goes for a takedown but Ledbetter gets the takedown. Curran, in a north-south position on Ledbetter’s back, triangle’s his legs and locks up Ledbetter’s head and shoulders. Curran then hits heavy blows on Ledbetter’s exposed ribs. Curran then attempts a triangle choke n Ledbetter and lands blows to Ledbetter’s head as the bell sounds.

Curran wins the fight via unanimous decision 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28.

Middleweight Championship – Paulo Filho v. Joe Doerksen

Round 1 – Doerksen defended a takedown but was taken down eventually by Filho. Doerksen got back to his feet. Filho then defended a leg sweep takedown. Filho then landed a few hard roundhouses to Doerksen’s head that send him to his knees. Doerksen tried to regain his composure but Filho kept striking and send Doerksen to the mat again. John McCarthy stopped the fight with 0:53 left in the first round.

Welterweight Championship Fight: Carlos Condit (Champ) v. Brock Larson

Round 1 – Larson gets a takedown and begins to ground and pound Condit but Condit scrambles and goes for a triangle. Larson gets to his feet and tries to lift Condit but Condit cinches up an armbar. Larson taps with 2:39 left in round 1.
