Kevin Ferguson, who fought under the name Kimbo Slice in street fights that were taped and sold on the Internet, will not meet David "Tank" Abbott, himself a reputed "street fighter," in the Palace Fighting Championship.

Earlier in the day through Christian Printup, the Tachai Palace Hotel & Casino Entertainment Director, PFC offered a deal to the fighters' management teams that he said would have paid out a six-figure purse to the winner.

It was later learned that Kimbo signed an exclusive multi-year, multi-fight deal with EliteXC, ProElite.com reported.

Slice is expected to debut for the promotion on Nov. 10 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Sam Caplan, a blogger for ProElite.com, stated that possible opponents include Abbott and UK heavyweight James Thompson .
