After a recap of last week, we find Rob Van Dam joining Balls Mahoney, Sandman, Sabu, & Tommy Dreamer in the ring. Vince McMahon comes out, and is in full vendetta mode, which means nothing but bad news for the ECW "originals". Certain of the five will compete tonight, but none can interfere in any of the matches, under penalty of being fired.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Kevin Thorn (w/Ariel). Matt Striker is appointed special guest referee, and Dreamer can't touch him. Pretty even until the finish. Dreamer hits a short powerbomb, but Striker picks that time to "tweak his knee" and doesn't make the count. A mere lariat from Thorn knocks Dreamer over Striker, who convienently makes the count this time. Winner: Kevin Thorn.

Hardcore Holly vs. Bobby Lashley (non-title). Another pretty even bout that needed more time, and for now was devoid of any McDrama. Holly got heat working on Lashley's shoulder after ramming it into the post and knocking Lashley into the ring steps. Naturally, the champion got his wind back, and took over, finishing Holly with the military press into a powerslam.Winner: Bobby Lashley.

Post-match, Gene Snitsky, newly bald and clean shaven, hit the ring and wiped out the champion, leading to an Alabama Slam from Holly to set up a title match down the road. Earlier, they ran a quickie clip of the new look Snitsky, and said he was "coming". Who'd have thought it'd be this quick? They also began a 4-part profile of Lashley, I guess in honor of Black History Month.

Marcus Cor Van vs. Balls Mahoney. Mahoney is wearing a neck brace to sell the effects of his defeat at the hands of Umaga last night on Raw. He didn't fare much better vs. Cor Van, who certainly didn't need to be attached to this angle. Striker was back, this time as timekeeper, but was not a factor this time. Quick match, and Mahoney was squashed for the 2nd straight night, KOd by a Cobra Clutch Slam from Cor Van after a Pounce.Winner: Marcus Cor Van.

Extreme Expose's performance, this time to the music of the Pussycat Dolls, is interrupted again, this time by---you guessed it---Matt Striker, who is the ring announcer for the main event, with Cor Van in the broadcast booth, and Thorn & Ariel returning to share timekeeper duties.

Rob Van Dam vs. Elijah Burke.Way too short, and too blatant of a screwjob match. Van Dam hit the 5 Star, but Thorn rang the bell prematurely. With ref Scott Armstrong distracted, Burke hit a low blow and got the pin. After the match, Sandman, Sabu, & Dreamer came back to help RVD fend off a gang mugging to end the show.Winner: Elijah Burke.
