For the 2nd straight week, Tony Chimel is our ring announcer.

First out of the gate is Elijah Burke, who insincerely congratulates CM Punk on his win at Unforgiven. Seems as though the ex-boxer may be a wee bit punch-drunk, as he claims he could beat Punk 9 out of every 10 times, when history has shown already that this is not the case. Kevin Thorn is out next, and looks a wee bit different. He tells Burke the reason he left the New Breed was because Burke talked too much. Be'lee that. Thorn wants his shot. So do Tommy Dreamer & Stevie Richards. Enter Armando Estrada with some new music. Estrada has set up an "elimination chase" to determine a #1 contender for Punk @ No Mercy over the next three weeks, starting with a fatal 4-way.....NEXT!

Match 1: Elijah Burke vs. Kevin Thorn vs. Stevie Richards vs. Tommy Dreamer Already, this is your match of the night! What a spectacular match! Burke hit the rolling Germans on Richards, which didn't gain anything. Burke tried a plancha, but Richards & Thorn caught him, setting up a suicide dive by Dreamer before the break. Late in the match, Thorn went for the crucifix bomb on Dreamer, but Richards saved with a Steviekick. Dreamer went for the DDT on Thorn, but Burke cut that off with an STO. They did the tower of doom bit with Thorn powerbombing Richards, who superplexed Burke. Dreamer hit a frogsplash on Richards. Thorn dumps Dreamer, but Burke collects the fall, with Thorn adding his weight, and Richards is out of the title chase. Winner: Elijah Burke. Burke, Thorn, & Dreamer advance to Round 2.

Raw Rebound recaps last night's atrocious main event.

CM Punk crosses paths with Elijah Burke backstage. More BS from Burke, who claims he dominated the last match, when he certainly didn't.

Extreme Expose & the Miz are out. The girls dance to some old school Salt 'N' Pepa, and Layla set up the teddy bear on one of the pyro boxes, but it fell off.

Match 2: Balls Mahoney vs. Mike Knox Miz & the girls are at ringside. Return match from last week, when Knox won his 1st match back with an unnecessary distraction from Miz. Not so lucky this time. Kelly claps the teddy's hands together to cheer for Mahoney, and Brooke is SO not digging. Knox went for the pump kick, which won him the fall last week, but Mahoney was prepared for that and hit a Arn Anderson spinebuster to get the win right back. Must've been watching Triple H last night. Winner: Balls Mahoney.

Post-match, Balls asked Kelly out for a date. Before the 20 year old stunner could answer, Brooke & Miz pulled her away. Mahoney took that as a "yes".

They're recapping the Boogeyman-Big Daddy V/Matt Striker feud to set up tonight's main event. How these two rated main event status is beyond me. Then again, consider the network carrying the show.

Match 3: Big Daddy V (w/Matt Striker) vs. Boogeyman Squashola! The only reason this gets a main event berth is to build up BDV as a future challenger for CM Punk, whom he's already beaten. Boogey tried the superman comeback, but to no avail. Spinning sideslam wasn't enough to end it. Big Daddy added an elbow drop to punctuate the victory. Winner: Big Daddy V.
