We open with a recap of last week's highlights, including Kurt Angle attacking Samoa Joe's girlfriend. Jump cut to Joe barging into Jim Cornette's office. Joe wants Angle tonight, but Cornette wants him out of the building, effectively giving Joe a night off. We'll see about that.

Robert Roode vs. Rhino. As he starts down the ramp, Roode sends Ms. Brooks to the back, likely to locate Eric Young. The ravishing stockbroker look just isn't working for Roode, especially in terms of won-lost record. Pretty even match, and just like last week, Brooks comes running down the ramp to try to distract Rhino, but the War Machine is wise to her tricks and holds her by the wrist. Roode puts on the brakes to avoid a collision, but is left open to a schoolboy rollup.Winner: Rhino.Post-match, Roode reams out Brooks yet again. Meanwhile, AJ Styles attacks Rhino, and with an assist from Roode, hits the Styles Clash on the War Machine.

Voodoo Kin Mafia hit the ring for a promo wearing ponchos & sombreros. Long story short, the $1,000,000 challenge vs. DX is still on, and BG James says he & Kip will be in San Antonio "next Wednesday" for a showdown with Michael Hickenbottom (Shawn Michaels), with the resulting footage from this farce to air next week on Impact.

Brother Runt vs. Homicide. Runt attacks Homicide on the floor just as LAX makes it down the ramp. Unfortunately, that early burst and an Acid Drop add up to the extent of Runt's offense. A timely distraction by Konnan leads to Hotstuff Hernandez hitting the Border Toss on a ladder to give Homicide the match. Winner: Homicide. Post-match, LAX continued the assault on Runt, but before Homicide could hit the Gringo Killa, Bros. Ray & Devon came down to make the save.

Somewhere, James Mitchell is berating Abyss, and it has to do with the secret. Mitchell says Christian Cage & Tomko only know a piece of it, and that Abyss has a choice to make.

Jeremy Borash interviews Gail Kim, or tries to, before James Storm, swigging a beer, interrupts and gives Gail a week to make an important decision. Meanwhile, Ms. Brooks is making a similar request of Eric Young, and again, Eric's job is in jeopardy, or so it would seem. Joe's still in the building and cuts a promo on Angle.

Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage. This never really got started as Joe attacked Angle on the ramp, touching off a brawl that took forever and a week to break up. Even security chief Don Harris got involved. Just as cooler heads finally prevailed, and Jim Cornette tried to calm Angle down, Joe came back and renewed the assault. Cage, who'd left the ringside area for a while, thinking the match wouldn't come off, attacked a fatigued Angle, and he & Tomko doubled on the Olympian before Sting came down, using the darkness to cover his entrance, and make the save. Winner: None. Match never started.
