After a quick overview of Final Resolution, Crystal catches up to Robert Roode, arriving at the arena. Roode at first maintains he accidentally struck Sharmell and "broke her jaw" at the PPV, but has no remorse, and promises things will be worse for Ms. Brooks later.

Match 1: Motor City Machine Guns vs. Elix Skipper & Senshi 4 of the X division's best in our opening bout, and don't ya wish they gave this match more time? Pretty even to start, as the former members of Triple X ambush the Guns at the bell. Heat on Alex Shelley, who still has his vest on. Hot tag to Chris Sabin, and the tide turns in favor of the Guns, who focus their offense on Senshi. The double enziguri puts the "Warrior" away. Winners: Motor City Machine Guns.

As the Guns depart, Christian Cage arrives and clears out Senshi & Skipper, then cuts a promo on AJ Styles. There will be a reckoning after Styles cost Cage the title match.

"Earlier today", the Angles, Styles, & Jeremy Borash arrived at the arena, with Borash acting as the champ's personal chauffeur. Bottom line, Styles is being "coronated" as a Prince later. Stop the pain!

Chris Harris is in Jim Cornette's office voicing his complaints. Cornette is so not digging and gives Harris a match vs. Judas Mesias next. Harris leaves and Samoa Joe enters. Maybe Joe & Chris should team, as Joe has unresolved issues with Kevin Nash from Sunday.

Backstage, Kurt Angle is getting ready, changing into a tux, while Jeremy offers AJ some advice. Enter Travis Tomko, who reminds AJ they have a match later, I do believe.

Match 2: Chris Harris vs. Judas Mesias (w/James Mitchell) Protracted squash. Oh, Harris did get the predictable offense in, but this match was decided the moment it was made. Mitchell joined the announcers briefly and gave Abyss (Chris Parks) one week to reveal the secret they share. Well, at least they're getting to the meat of the story now. Mesias ensured the victory by spitting red mist (might as well call it blood) in Harris' face before hitting the Straight to Hell (it's also Shel Benjamin's finisher in ECW). Winner: Judas Mesias.

Crystal is with Ms. Brooks, who clearly is terrified to face Robert Roode later, but she really has little choice in the matter.....

Match 3: Voodoo Kin Mafia (w/Roxxi Laveaux) vs. Petey Williams & Sonjay Dutt Two storylines mingle in our next bout. As Williams tangles with Kip James, Scott Steiner sneaks down and switches briefcases, reclaiming the TNA title shot he foolishly traded away last month. After a hot tag to Dutt, Williams realizes what's happened, and leaves Dutt behind to catch up to Steiner. However, the James' double-team tactics backfire. BG gives Dutt a hug, and that gets Kip upset. He shoves BG down over the back of Dutt, and Sonjay schoolboys Kip! Winners: Petey Williams & Sonjay Dutt.

Post-match, Dutt surprises So Cal Val with a kiss, and Kip cuts a promo on BG, demanding to know who BG's partner will be by next week for a tag title shot.

Crystal is now with Christian Cage, on the hunt for AJ Styles, not realizing Styles & Jeremy Borash are under a table behind them with Eric Young. After the break, there's more nonsense with those three Stooge wannabes.

Team 3D & Johnny Devine have a message for Jay Lethal & the Motor City Machine Guns. A hardcore streetfight at Against All Odds on 2/10. If Lethal & the Guns win, Lethal gets his belt back. If they lose, it's curtains for the X division. I'd rather see them bring Vince Russo out and hang him off an Ultimate X cable by his thumbs, as this is all his doing.

Samoa Joe confronts a baseball bat-wielding Kevin Nash. He's willing to fight for "$100,000", but in his eyes, it isn't worth it, with Joe walking around like an angry child. He walked out on Joe on Sunday to give the Samoan a wake-up call. He gives Joe the bat, offering a free shot, but Joe lets him walk. Hmmmmm.

"Earlier today", Mike Tenay sat down with Booker T, who expresses remorse and blames himself for the injury suffered by his wife Sharmell. He thanks the fans for their support, and ends the interview so he can return to his wife's side.

Match 4: Robert Roode vs. Traci Brooks I'm not going to call her "Ms. Brooks" anymore. Simple as that. Roode came out first and cut a promo, "firing" Brooks as his "Chief Executive Offender". Traci comes out and fires back at Roode, starting off as the helpless, put-upon assistant she's been for so long, but her tone changes as she goes before ripping Roode a new one. The match never starts, as Jim Cornette comes out and joins the verbal joust, ripping Roode even more. He said that the network and TNA, as well as himself and the fans, wouldn't allow the match to take place, considering it is male-on-female violence. He promises Traci that Roode won't hurt her anymore and sends her to the back. She barely gets up the ramp before Roode's #1 fan, now identified as Meggan Banks, attacks and lays her out. Roode chases Cornette away with a chair, but then the executive brings Matt Morgan out for reinforcement to chase Roode & Banks away.

Jay Lethal gives us a teaser, in his own unique way, to plug the women's title rematch that is our main event. Ohhhhh yeahhhh! Dig it!

Jeremy has moved to the parking lot of the "Revenge of the Mummy" area of the Universal Studios theme park (which the Impact Zone is a part of). AJ Styles is dressed as a character from "Revenge", trying to hide from a vengeful Christian Cage.

Match 5: Rock & Rave Infection vs. LAX (w/Selena) Selena is Shelly Martinez, who finally was unmasked at Final Resolution. Good to see that pretty face again. Return match from Final Resolution, but this time, Christy Hemme is nowhere to be found. Just as well. Protracted squash as Rock & Rave (Lance Hoyt & Jimmy Rave) never got going. Hoyt hit a boot to the head on Homicide, but when he attempted a moonsault, Hernandez pushed him off the top. Hoyt landed face first on the barrier, eliminating him from the match. Homicide gained the fall after the Gringo Killa (Vertebreaker). Winners: LAX.

ODB is asked who she thinks will win the women's title match. "Who cares?", she says, adding that she's got next.

Crystal is with Tomko, who is going solo tonight. Tomko says the whole deal with AJ Styles, Christian Cage, & Kurt Angle was a "no-win situation", which he stayed out of. He insinuates, though, that what might've influenced Styles' decision might be a schoolboy crush (on Karen Angle, methinks).

Match 6; Shark Boy vs. Tomko Total squashola. Shark Boy came out with a crutch. It's bad enough that he's been selling a series of injuries for the last couple of months (starting with attacks by Team 3D), but he keeps coming back. The announcers questioned his lack of wisdom. Tomko just killed him. Gorilla press into a fallaway slam sets up a reverse TKO for the finish. Winner: Tomko.

Backstage, Karen Angle adds some charm to AJ Styles to pump him up for the coronation ceremony. You know as well as I do that this isn't going to turn out too well......

Crystal is now with Kaz. He stole Black Reign's pet rat, Misty, at Final Resolution, and has rechristened her "Marlena". Long time fans will remember that "Marlena" was the ring name for Dustin Rhodes' ex-wife, Terri, when she debuted with the then-WWF in 1995. The mind games between Kaz and Reign/Dustin continue.

Now, it's time for Stupid Hour, starring Kurt & Karen Angle and AJ Styles. If Styles is a prince, what does that make Jeremy Borash, a court jester? Anyway, the coronation goes off without a hitch. I'm waiting for someone to make a Roger Clemens joke about Styles (facially, they do look a little alike). Unsurprisingly, Christian Cage comes out, and cuts a promo on the Angles & Styles, cracking that Karen is playing puppet master AND servicing AJ. Samoa Joe comes out, and he wants a go at Angle. Enter Jim Cornette & Matt Morgan. Cornette sets up a 3-way elimination dance for next week among Cage, Joe, & Styles. If AJ wins, he either takes a title match or allows Angle to be lazy and not defend the title until Lockdown in April. If Cage or Joe win, however, they get the title match at Against All Odds.

Match 7: Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong (TNA women's title) Another return match from Final Resolution. As I noted in the Reaction Zone on Monday, I thought Kong might finally garner the gold at the PPV, but it wasn't to be. Maybe it'll be different this time. Kong this time is accompanied by a masked "Muslim" attendant who really is of no consequence, although the champion seems to think so to the point of kicking at the newcomer to keep her away. Jeremy Borash remained in the ring to do the introductions, but couldn't finish as Kong charged at Gail at the bell. They redid the spot from a few weeks back when Kong charged at Gail on one side of the ramp only to crash into the wall. Back in the ring, Kong recovered and gained control. It started with a double underhook gourdbuster, then a double powerbomb, followed by the Awesome Bomb. Indeed, a new era in the women's division has begun. Winner & new champion: Awesome Kong.
