We begin tonight with Jim Cornette attempting again to sign Samoa Joe to a new contract. Joe comes out alone this time, and before he can even put pen to paper, Christian Cage comes out. Cage was screwed out of the TNA title again at Against All Odds. He wants Tomko & AJ Styles, and wants Joe to be his partner. Joe agrees, and tells Cornette that he'll perhaps sign after taking care of business tonight.

Crystal is with Tomko, who now claims he was tired of Cage hanging around him like a monkey for "five years". Try four, Tomko. At least get the math right.

After the commercial, Crystal is now with AJ Styles. Styles is reluctant to go through with the match until Crystal tells him Cornette has already sanctioned the match. Kurt Angle enters the picture. He & Karen are renewing their wedding vows tonight, and AJ's the best man. Uh-ohhhhh! Kurt leaves, and behind his back AJ declares that Karen is "my woman". Yikes!

Match 1: Brother Devon (w/Brother Ray & Johnny Devine) vs. Curry Man & Shark Boy It was supposed to be Team 3D vs. Curry & Shark, but because of the stips at the PPV, Devon & Ray have to weigh in at 275 or under. Devon does make weight---questionable at best---but Ray, even after shedding his vest, elbow pads, and tape, can't. Earl Hebner flubs and calls Ray "Bubba" twice.

What results is the starch is taken right out of Shark Boy's cold blooded persona after an early flurry. Devon takes control until Sharky tags out to Curry Man. Devine butts in, and pays for it with a stunner. Ray, however, cracks Curry in the head with the scale, and Devon simply moves in for the pin. Winner: Brother Devon.

Crystal is outside the arena with Booker T, who's waiting on Robert Roode. Nothing was settled at Against All Odds, but will the battle continue tonight?

Rellik cuts a promo on......Eric Young? Why?

Match 2: Scott Steiner (w/Rocka Khan) vs. Petey Williams It was originally going to be Steiner vs. Abyss, but the man-monster decided at the last minute he didn't want to fight and went back up the ramp, removing his mask and leaving it at the ramp. After Steiner cut a promo introducing Khan (Trenesha Biggers, a former Diva Search contestant) and issuing a open challenge, Williams answered, looking for payback for what happened Sunday. Like Shark Boy earlier, Petey got an early run on Steiner, including a diamond cutter with Steiner on his knees. He tried the Canadian Destroyer, but Steiner blocked it. Later, Petey went up top, but Khan crotched him on the top rope, and Steiner hit a torture rack into a fallaway slam. Winner: Scott Steiner.

Post-match, Steiner helped Williams up and patted him on the shoulder. A sign of respect after all?

Christian Cage is found backstage KOd by an unknown party.

Jeremy Borash is with Karen Angle backstage when Eric Young bursts in, asking Jeremy for help vs. Rellik. Oh, please. Karen is irate and orders Eric to leave.

Match 3: AJ Styles & Tomko vs. Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash (non-title) Mike Tenay assumes that it was Styles who laid out Cage, his former boss, given the "Prince of Phenomenal"'s giddy attitude pre-match. He was expecting a handicap match, but Joe had a backup plan in Nash. However, it is Joe most of the way, and Nash was never officially in the match, as a hot tag was missed by ref Earl Hebner. While Nash is busy with Styles, Kurt Angle comes down and clocks Joe, enabling Tomko to hit a version of the Olympic Slam. Winners: AJ Styles & Tomko.

Post-match, Joe cuts a promo on Styles, Tomko, & Angle promising revenge.

Match 4: Rellik vs. Eric Young Protracted squash. Eric acted completely scared, and needed to feed off the crowd to get any offense going. However, Rellik turned the tide his way by putting his outer mask back on and scaring Young silly. A mere lariat wins it for Rellik in his first match back. Winner: Rellik.

NASCAR's Hermie Sadler, who owns a indie promotion on the side, is with the Motor City Machine Guns, LAX, and their respective guest managers for the night, Reed Sorenson and Juan Pablo Montoya. Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley try to come up with a connection between NASCAR & wrestling, and it adds up to speed and snap judgments.

Match 5: Chris Sabin (w/Alex Shelley & Reed Sorenson) vs. Jimmy Rave (w/Lance Hoyt & Christy Hemme) vs. Homicide (w/Salinas, Hernandez, & Juan Pablo Montoya) 3-way match, and the Rock & Rave Infection has a right to be upset because they don't have a NASCAR connection. Well, Christy won't be singing the national anthem at Daytona on Sunday, that's for sure. Sadler & Jimmie Spencer join the announcers for this one. This deserved more time than it got, as it amounts to a captains match involving the three tag teams. Sadler left the desk to get between Montoya & Hoyt when Montoya took a chair away from Hoyt before he could use it on Homicide. Next thing you know, Montoya clocks Hoyt with the chair. Meanwhile, Homicide schoolboys Rave to gain the fall. Winner: Homicide.

A video package plays for Rhino, preceding the return of the War Machine to the Impact Zone. Rhino cuts a promo on James Storm, taking responsibility for returning to alcohol. However, he challenges Storm to a Elevation X match at Destination X on March 9.

Awesome Kong video package plays. I'd put her up against even some WWE divas. She's that good.

Crystal is with ODB, who gets Kong in a streetfight match. ODB believes she can beat Kong, even though she lost at Against All Odds. Gail Kim appears and tells ODB she has her back to checkmate Raisha Saed.

Match 6: Awesome Kong (w/Raisha Saed) vs. ODB (w/Gail Kim) (non-title streetfight) Now, the sides are even, as Saed got physically involved at Against All Odds. Saed gets involved again, tripping up ODB, and that brings Gail into the picture. Kong, seeing her manager threatened, goes after the former champion. However, this strategem backfires, as ODB & Gail play ping pong with the champion. That ends when Gail makes the mistake of trying to hold Kong for ODB. Kong squirts out of the way, and ODB sends Gail to the floor. One Implant Buster later, and it's over. Winner: Awesome Kong.

Post-match, Gail & ODB come to blows before being separated by Angelina Love & Velvet Sky.

Booker T's still waiting for Robert Roode. Crystal shows up with a worried, scared Peyton Banks, who reveals that Roode isn't coming at all, which doesn't help. The girls leave, and Jim Cornette comes over. He understands what Book's going through, but Booker's scaring some of the talent into staying home. Booker gets to vent his frustration in the ring next week-----vs. Kurt Angle.

And speaking of Kurt, it's time for the renewal of his wedding vows with Karen. Their daughter is a junior bridesmaid, but the maid of honor is.....Jeremy Borash? Are they telling us something about Borash we don't know? AJ Styles is the best man, but doesn't bother tucking in his shirt or wearing a bowtie. Samoa Joe & Kevin Nash craash the party, and in the ensuing melee, the minister is bumped down and loses his glasses. Kurt is driven up the ramp, stripped to his boxers. The minister is back up, and sees Karen with AJ, but without his glasses, he doesn't realize Kurt is not there now. The end result? Kurt watches in shock as Styles plants a liplock on Karen!!!
