We open with Kurt Angle trying to warm up for his match vs. Kevin Nash. Karen walks in, trying to reconcile. Unfortunately, when Kurt reminds her that of the two things he said on their wedding night, "I do" and "I'm the boss!", Karen takes offense, and Kurt sends her out.

In the Impact Zone, Booker T is calling for Robert Roode, but gets Peyton Banks instead. Banks, claiming it's a message from Roode, slaps Booker in the face. Of course, Booker won't retaliate, but Traci Brooks will on his behalf, and it takes security to break up the catfight as Booker looks on.

"Last Friday", Team 3D went into a Chinese restaurant trying to get on a diet. Ray openly uses the word "gimmick" to describe his & Devon's plight, while Devon tries to sell Ray on the virtues of salad, carrots, & olives. Ray's response? "Your diet sucks!"

Match 1: Scott Steiner & Petey Williams (w/Rocka Khan) vs. Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal Pre-match, Steiner & Williams were interviewed, and Steiner, after being thanked by Williams for his help last week, lectured "Maple Leaf Muscle" and said he'd have one eye on his partner and one on his opponents. Apparently this will be some sort of initiation. Khan got involved, chasing away So Cal Val when she tried to comfort Lethal after a suicide dive on Williams. Khan then rammed Lethal into the stairs. Dutt, who had used his tambourine as a collection plate, held his own, but after Steiner blasted him with a briefcase behind the ref's back, Dutt was easy prey for the Canadian Destroyer. Winners: Scott Steiner & Petey Williams.

"Monday", Team 3D, with Johnny Devine as a videographer and coach, continue to work on their willpower, but are overcome by the temptations of fudge. They get some candy balls, only to have Devine order them to spit them out. Ray tries to shoplift a licorice stick on the way out, but is foiled by Devine, whose time in Team 3D may soon be coming to an end.......

Jeremy Borash interviews Eric Young, who's still deathly afraid of Rellik & Black Reign. Frankie "Kaz" Kazarian shows up and schools Eric with pictures. He even lumps Senator Hilary Clinton in with screen monsters like Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, and Freddy Kreuger. The pic he showed of the Monster of Frankenstein looked like a still from the 1976 children's show, "Monster Squad". He reminds Young that we all have alter egos, and he's hoping Eric finds his before his ladder match with James Storm later......

Match 2: Curry Man & Shark Boy vs. Black Reign & Rellik It was supposed to be Curry & Sharky vs. Team 3D, but for the 3rd straight week, it doesn't come off that way. This time, neither Ray nor Devon made weight. Mike Tenay made mention of the videos being done by "Paparazzi Productions", so Devine is still doing that gig on the side, albeit alone. Rellik & Reign were summoned after answering an open challenge from Sharky, who turned down a forfeit. Team 3D & Devine came back out to interfere, but then Kaz showed up to essentially even the sides. He took Reign's Darkness Falls staff and used it against him, setting up the Deep Sea Chopper from Shark Boy. Winners: Curry Man & Shark Boy.

However, it's still 5 on 3, and Curry & Sharky don't have time to celebrate, as Rellik attacks anew, with Team 3D joining the fray. Eric Young comes out, and gets some shots in on Ray & Devon, but when he makes eye contact with Reign & Rellik, he rabbits back to the locker room. Kaz ends up tasting wood, superbombed off the top by Ray, who still is down to his Looney Tunes boxer shorts & socks.

Crystal catches up with Robert Roode, who "just arrived in the building". Roode says the running stops, and the "legend" of Booker T falls tonight.

Earlier, Jeremy Borash talked to Karen Angle, who was looking for a shoulder to lean on. AJ Styles happens along, and explains that "it's the nature of the beast", and that Kurt didn't mean anything with his remarks earlier. Karen is quite taken with AJ, however. Styles leaves her with a kiss to the forehead......

A video package outlines the TNA history of Kip & BG James. Next week, Mike Tenay promises, is the debut of TNA Rough Cut, which will follow the former Voodoo Kin Mafia behind the scenes. Oh, you didn't know?

Robert Roode & Payton Banks (thanks to the graphics dept. for getting the spelling right this time) are out, and Roode calls out Booker T. Booker's new music hits and Book comes charging out. All it takes, however, is a distraction from Banks for Roode to get the advantage. He handcuffs Booker to the ropes, and is ready to use his belt to whip Booker before Traci Brooks returns, but Traci ends up getting cuffed as well. It may be Roode-Booker at Destination X now, but that may soon change........

Video package chronicling Elevation X, with comments from Don West, Kurt Angle, Kaz, Chris Sabin, & Samoa Joe.

Crystal is with James Storm, who will face Rhino in Elevation X II at Destination X, and Jacqueline. Jackie set up the ladder match with Eric Young because Storm supposedly has a fear of heights. Jackie's trying to be the voice of reason, but Storm, the pub crawling party boy, doesn't want to hear of it, and reams out Jackie. Sounds to me like another partnership is about to go pffft...

Match 3: Eric Young vs. James Storm (w/Jacqueline)(TNA Drinking championship)(ladder match) Clearly, the Drinking championship is a creation of either Dutch Mantel or Vince Russo, I'm not sure which, and I don't care. We've seen better matches between these two, and the ladder really doesn't help matters at all. As Storm mentioned in his promo earlier, when he was in America's Most Wanted, he was the one who did most of the high flying maneuvers, so maybe the fear of heights is something borne of his excessive carousing. For now, we won't know for sure. Young, a little more focused than he was earlier, gives it his all, but he's actually a little overmatched. Storm set up a 2nd ladder between the ring and the barrier, and suplexed Young onto it. Eric got up, only to be sent back down and out with the Last Call superkick. Storm tried to climb the ladder, but his doubts kept him on the lower rungs, prompting Jackie to get in the ring to encourage him. When that fails, she climbs the ladder herself to claim the belt and hand it to Storm. Winner & new Drinking champion: James Storm.

Like Curry Man & Shark Boy earlier, Storm has no time to celebrate, as Rhino suddenly appears and gores Storm halfway to Disney World, then leaves with the belt. File that under "things that make you say, 'Huh?'".

Jeremy is back with Kurt Angle, joined by AJ Styles. Kurt berates Karen even further, and AJ is no help. Oh, stop the pain!

Match 4: Awesome Kong (w/Raisha Saeed) vs. Angelina Love (w/Velvet Sky)(non-title) Protracted squash. Angelina tried to gain an early advantage by using ref Rudy Charles as a shield. As Charles checked the champion for weapons (highly unlikely), Love attacked. However, Kong didn't sell too much. Love ran out of gas quickly, and Kong capitalized. Implant Buster sets up the Awesome Bomb. Goodbye. Winner: Awesome Kong.

Post-match, ODB comes out and cuts a promo. But while the champion gives ODB her full attention, Gail Kim comes out the other side and attacks. ODB comes charging down the ramp, and Kong wipes them both out. However, the numbers favor the challengers, who will be in a 3-way with Kong at Destination X, and Kong is tossed from the ring. When Kong landed, she grabbed her right ankle, suggesting a possible injury, but Saeed had to hold her charge back and lead her back to the locker room. ODB & Kim had another shoving match, which Charles had to break up.

Match 5: Kurt Angle (w/AJ Styles & Tomko) vs. Kevin Nash (w/Samoa Joe & Christian Cage)(non-title) 1st ever meeting between these two. Nash spent more time on the DL than in the ring during his last run in WWE, so he & Kurt never faced each other there. It wasn't that long ago that they were tag team partners, but Kurt's oversized ego drove Nash away from his inner circle. Early on, Kurt initiated a brawl among the cornermen, prompting Joe, Cage, Styles, & Tomko to all be ejected. That left it one-on-one, the way it should be. Angle locked on a figure four leglock, only to have Nash reverse and force Angle to make a rope break. Kurt then went to the anklelock, but Nash kicked free. Angle charged, but Kevin ducked and Angle crashed head-first into the post, falling out of the ring. Karen came down, concerned for her husband, remembering his history of neck injuries. However, Kurt smacked his wife in the face, knocking her out and drawing blood. Jeremy Borash & Styles came back out to check, which drew the attention of ref Earl Hebner, who tried to get rid of Styles again. Nash hit the Jackknife power bomb, but no ref. Nash called for Hebner to get back in the ring, but Angle low-blowed him and hit the Olympic Slam. After Kurt called for the arbiter, Hebner hustled in as Styles carried Karen to the back. Winner: Kurt Angle.
