After a quick recap of Destination X, we open with Jim Cornette inside the 6 Sides of Steel. Cornette announces the main event for Lockdown on 4/15, the 10-man Lethal Lockdown match. Kurt Angle & Christian Cage are the team captains, and Cornette has advise for both men. Choose quickly and wisely. After the opening montage, AJ Styles enters the cage to address the fans, claiming injury after losing Elevation X on Sunday. He calls out Rhino, asking the War Machine to call his (Styles') wife, but Rhino says he may've just done that already. Styles wants to end it, or so he says, but it's a feint, just like his injuries. A low blow to the War Machine starts the beatdown, joined in earnest after a commercial by Cage. Angle & Samoa Joe make the save, but unfortunately, it's the last we'll see of those two for the evening.

Jeremy Borash is backstage with LAX & Alex Shelley. Seems Shelley was trained by Konnan, which would explain why he's thrown in with the tag team champions. Shelley teams with Homicide & Hotstuff Hernandez later vs. the complete Team 3D in a 6-man tag.

Kevin Nash & Sonjay Dutt are in the ring, summoning Jay Lethal. Nash has remixed Randy Savage's old music (Pomp & Circumstance) for Lethal, essentially cementing Lethal as the New Macho Man. He's got the familiar moves and gestures down. I wonder what else Nash is going to do for the X Division, instead of to it......! Meanwhile, Jeremy finds X champ Chris Sabin playing video games and Mr. Bob Backlund is in the background doing the Harvard Step Test. Backlund joins JB & Sabin and berates them for leaving him out of the conversation. Sounds more restrained this week, and his voice is cracking, probably from too much shouting. Jay Lethal vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Kaz. Kaz, formerly Frankie Kazarian, comes out without the other members of Serotonin. If they didn't spend the first third of the show talking, they might've given these guys more time to do their thing. Easily the best match on the show. Lynn signaled for the Cradle Piledriver, but Kaz cut him off. Lethal, however, thanked Kaz for his aid by hitting the Lethal Combo (backbreaker into a faceplant) to gain the fall.Winner: Jay Lethal.

Jeremy is now with Styles & Cage. Styles is the first recruit for Team Cage, and we're going to find out the next one later, or so the champ says. Styles brings up the promise of a title shot, just as Tomko had done in recent weeks, and Cage downplays it. He's coming across as a poor man's Jeff Jarrett, doing the same things Jarrett was doing.

Team 3D (Brothers Ray, Runt, & Devon) w/Johnny Rodz vs. LAX (Homicide & Hernandez) & Alex Shelley w/Konnan. Konnan joins the announcers to spread some propaganda ga-ga. Typical 6-man match. Shelley avoided getting into the ring against either Ray or Devon after costing them the Ghetto Brawl on Sunday, but late in the match he was isolated. They hit the Whassup, and Ray called for a table. Devon & Rodz got the table out, but Machete, wearing a shirt designed like the Puerto Rico flag, distracted ref Rudy Charles. Shelley ate wood via the 3D, but with the ref distracted, Hernandez, the legal man, swooped in and schoolboyed Ray for the pin. Konnan, who just couldn't shut up, cut a promo on Team 3D after claiming they'd won every match, convienently forgetting the last TV bout they had two weeks ago where actor Steve Schirripa helped Team 3D win. Next week, they'll take 3D's legacy. Why they didn't put the titles up at Destination X, I don't know, but I know politics are the reason LAX still has the titles.

Jeremy finds Eric Young backstage cleaning the men's room. Young wants out of his contract with Robert Roode, who finds Borash & Young talking. Chasing the reporter away, Roode tells Young things are about to get worse.

Cage & Styles are back in the ring and Cage announces Abyss will be on his team. The man-monster comes out, but only goes as far as the foot of the ramp. Sting comes out and says Abyss is a new man, a team unto himself. Cornette returns and makes a match for next week--Cage & Styles vs. Sting & Abyss. The two teams begin brawling to end the show.
