We open with a montage from Victory Road. Jeremy Borash is backstage with Kurt Angle. Apparently, Jim Cornette wants Kurt in his office for something, but the TNA World champ is in a tanning booth, and accuses Borash of staring at his "package".

Triple X (Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper, & Senshi) vs. Serotonin (Raven, Martyr, & Havok). Easily the best match on the card, and that says something, considering that Serotonin never wins. Raven's had his issues with Skipper in the past, dating back to when "Prime Time" was part of that other JTTS team, the Diamonds in the Rough. Very even match, as Martyr & Havok get plenty of offense on Daniels. I guess the "Fallen Angel" is your default face in peril. Hot tag to Senshi, and the warrior is on the attack, hitting anyone on Serotonin. The finish sees all three members of Triple X going up top. Skipper with a legdrop. Daniels with the Best Moonsault Ever. Senshi hits the Warrior's Way to finish off Martyr. Winners: Triple X. Post-match, Kaz hits the ring and attacks his former teammates, then manages to escape the triple team.

Angle is now lying face down in the tanning booth with Borash comes back from Cornette's office. The champ's been fined $10,000, but that's the least of his worries now, as his titles and clothes have been stolen. He'll spend the rest of the show wearing a pair of red briefs, sandals, and swimmer's goggles.

Team 3D storms to the broadcast booth, angry over losing the tag titles thanks to the Steiners' interference at Victory Road. Ray cuts a promo on Scott Steiner, and demands the Steiners be at Impact next week. Devon chokes Mike Tenay, while Ray roughs up Don West. Seems the former champs have turned heel, which was inevitable because the fans in the Impact Zone had turned on them long ago......

Kip James (w/BG James & Roxxi Laveau) vs. Lance Hoyt (w/Christy Hemme). Hoyt has put some blond highlights in his hair. Not a good idea. BG joins Tenay & West and talks about Voodoo Kin Mafia dealing themselves into the issue involving the Steiners & Team 3D. Puts over Roxxi as a direct descendant of the legendary voodoo goddess Marie Laveau. Kip missed the corner splash. Hoyt missed a boot to the head. Kip with the Famouser and that's it. Winner: Kip James. Post-match, Christy tried to low-blow Kip, but got caught and given to Laveau, who hit the Dominator version 1, or as BG called it, the Bimbo Slam.

Letitia is with Christian Cage and company. Tomko is holding some kind of belt, but won't have it with him during the main event. Later, Letitia interviews Samoa Joe, who says he has a challenge for the Hard Justice PPV.

Christian Cage & James Storm (w/Tomko & Jackie Moore) vs. Rhino & Chris Harris. As with the last match, the numbers advantage makes all the difference in the world. Rhino is the face in peril. Hot tag to Harris. Storm goes for the superkick, but Harris blocks and hits a sloppier than usual Catatonic, but Tomko pulls the ref out. Dustin Rhodes runs in and clocks Harris with a chair, enabling Storm to earn another cheap pin. Winners: Christian Cage & James Storm. Post-match, Cage & Storm pop open a couple of cold ones, hoping to pour some more beer down Rhino's throat, but Abyss & Sting make the save.

After a break, Cage has collected AJ Styles and is looking to bail. Robert Roode & Traci Brooks join in, then Cage sends them to try to take out Sting. Cage & Styles get into the SUV, only to find Abyss waiting for them.

Back to the ring, and Angle has made his way into the Impact Zone, now wearing a bathrobe provided for him by Jim Cornette. In due course, Samoa Joe makes his way out with all the belts. He wants to put the last 9 months behind them, and start the next chapter. That next chapter will include a winner-take-all match at Hard Justice. Joe & Kurt shake, but Joe then head-butts Angle, a receipt for last year, and pummels him, then gets a table out. However, Kurt turns it around and rams Joe through the table, then applies the anklelock to end the show.
