We open in Jim Cornette's office. Letitia Cline is trying to interview Cornette, who has a guest, former WWE wrestler Matt Morgan, who now has lighter hair. Team 3D marches in, demanding a tag title match. Cornette's about to make an announcement about the Hard Justice main event, and tells Brother Ray that the titles will be decided after the PPV, which doesn't sit well with the former tag champs. Ray calls Letitia a "tramp" on the way out.

After the opening, Cornette is in the ring, with Morgan on the outside acting more like the 2nd coming of Bubba Rogers. Christian Cage, Tomko, & AJ Styles interrupt, then soon wish they hadn't. Cornette announces that the main event is a 6-man cage match billed as a Doomsday Chamber of Blood match pitting the Christian Coalition against Sting, Abyss, & Andrew Martin. You can only pin your opponent after making him bleed. The Coalition has Cornette cornered, but Team Abyss appears, using the darkness to cover their arrival, and chase the Coalition out.

Kurt Angle is teary eyed as Jeremy Borash catches up with him backstage. Kurt "just got off the phone with his divorce lawyer". All he has left are his TNA & IWGP titles. This is just ridiculous. Kurt looked disheveled, straight out of the "Odd Couple".

Match 1: Raven, Robert Roode (w/Ms. Brooks), & James Storm (w/Jackie Moore) vs. Kaz, Rhino, & Chris Harris (House of Fun match) This match was created by Raven way back in the day. The last time it was on Impact, Raven lost. As we go to commercial, the former NWA & ECW champion put Kaz through a table with an elbow drop off the middle turnbuckle, and Storm took a seat in the ring. He & Harris had traded shots with trash can lids earlier. As is usually the norm with TNA, a lot gets left on the cutting room floor, because they rush to the finish when we come back from break. Storm intercepted Kaz's attempt at a suicide dive with a lid to the head. Back in the ring, the two traded a chair back and forth before Kaz hit a VanDaminator on Storm, then put Raven through a table with a bicycle kick. Roode hit him with a croquet mallet, then hit the Payoff (Perfectplex) for the fall. Winners: Raven, Robert Roode, & James Storm.

Letitia is trying for an interview with Samoa Joe. She peeks into his dressing room, and gets a shock. Joe's got a guest tonight, but prepare to be underwhelmed.

Earlier tonight, we were treated, and I use that term loosely, to a video montage of Tennessee Titans defensive back Adam "Pacman" Jones, who will be at Hard Justice.

Another video airs, for something called "Black Reign", targeting Chris Harris.

Kurt Angle and Jeremy Borash are now in "Dr." Kevin Nash's office. Kurt is weeping, blaming Samoa Joe for all his troubles. Nash explodes off the sofa and motivates Kurt. It seems to work, until Borash lets slip that Joe has a guest. Kurt starts crying again, and Kevin sends Borash away, but not before finding out what Borash knows. "He doesn't need THAT!", Nash says as Kurt continues to cry. Where's Mr. Bob Backlund when you need him?

Match 2: Kip James (w/Roxxi Laveau) & Brother Devon vs. Rick Steiner & Homicide A tag team captains match, if you will. All four teams represented will be in action at Hard Justice, as Team 3D will finally face the Steiners, with the roles reversed from before, and Voodoo Kin Mafia meets LAX. As with the last match, it's disrupted with a commercial break---only because they spend too much time focusing on a certain match at the PPV---, leaving a lot of action on the cutting room floor. Jump right to the finish. Devon misses a splash intended for Homicide, and hits James instead. James returns the favor and clotheslines Devon out as Homicide avoids contact again. Third time lucky, however, as Devon trips Homicide coming off the ropes, setting up the Famouser. Winners: Kip James & Brother Devon.

Post-match, the victors press the attack, soon joined by their respective partners, until Scott Steiner & Hernandez come down for the save.

Letitia now has Joe in the interview area. She can't believe Joe pulled it off. Joe says that last week, he ruined Kurt Angle's marriage. Tonight, it's Kurt's life. As for Team 3D, Joe says he's not hard to find, and invites the former tag champs to come knocking on his door.

Back from break, and Joe is in the ring, and introduces his guest. To the shock of, well, no one, it's Karen Angle. Joe invites Karen to be at ringside for the winner take all match at Hard Justice. Does anyone here remember Armageddon '99? I do, and I don't like the thought percolating in my brain right now. Enter the Olympic Crybaby. Kurt gets on bended knee and tries, still weeping, to get Karen to take him back. She refuses and walks off. Joe is gloating, and promises to claim the TNA & IWGP titles on Sunday. Right now, I'd say he'd be a better representative of both promotions anyway. Team 3D comes out. Ray wants the tag belts laid down at their feet, calling Joe "boy". Bad idea. Joe lays the belts down, then cuts off an attempted cheap shot. Kurt "recovers" and waffles Joe with a belt shot of his own. He applies the anklelock, while Team 3D uses the tag titles like whips on Joe's back. The Steiners make the save to end the show.
