We open with Ric Flair, who seems upset with Shawn Michaels' remarks from last week. He calls out HBK, and cuts a money promo on the Showstopper. Shawn finally agrees to have the match with Flair at Wrestlemania 24. Not only that, but HBK will pay a visit to Smackdown on Friday to give Ric some help vs. Edge and the Edgeheads in the cage.

Enter Randy Orton. Tonight is part 2 of Triple Threat Takeover, meaning Triple H will be in charge next week. Orton makes a swank double main event. HBK vs. John Cena in a return from last year's Wrestlemania, and Triple H vs. Kane. The last time those two collided at Mania was in 1999 (Wrestlemania 15), but have fought on Raw many times since. Hey, you can't fault the logic.

Match 1: Undertaker vs. Mark Henry (casket match--rematch from Wrestlemania 22) We are revisiting past Wrestlemanias all night long, and we start with the first casket match to air on Raw in quite some time. As specialty matches of this type go, however, they might as well have left the casket back in the storeroom. This went by just too quickly. Taker dominated early, but left himself open for Henry to hit the World's Strongest Slam and 2 splashes. Henry called for the casket to be opened, and dragged Taker to the casket. However, the Deadman stopped and caught Henry in the gogoplata (figure four choke), called a triangle choke by Jim Ross. Henry tapped and passed out, spitting out blood. It then became a simple matter for Undertaker to roll Henry into the casket. Ballgame over. Winner: Undertaker.

More comments on the Floyd Mayweather-Big Show match. More from Michael Buffer, plus Burt Randolph Sugar and former boxing champion Antonio Tarver.

"Earlier today", Triple H cut a promo talking about his opportunity to regain the WWE title at Wrestlemania. Last year, he was on the DL and couldn't have the rematch he wanted vs. John Cena. When he came back, Cena was on the DL (well, not right away), and he gained title #11, only to lose the title that same night to Randy Orton. No title rematch has been forthcoming until now. It's game on, and Hunter will fight like his life depends on it. To him, it does.

Match 2: Mr. Kennedy vs. Finlay This is not a Wrestlemania rematch, but the first time ever these two have hooked up. However, JBL appears via video to throw cold water on it all. He announces that Finlay has accepted his challenge for a match at Wrestlemania, but in a Belfast Brawl. JBL claims he'll win and put Finlay in the hospital alongside Hornswoggle, calling the lad a "mutant", just as Vince McMahon did last week. Well, that set Finlay off, and no sooner than ref Marty Elias called for the bell to start the match, the hometown star curse hit Kennedy, as Finlay began battering him with the shillelagh, prompting Elias to call for the bell a 2nd time to end it. Ties Randy Orton for the fastest DQ in Raw history. Winner: Mr. Kennedy via DQ.

Finlay continued to throttle Kennedy with the shillelagh until a shot to the head finally knocked out the Green Bay native. The crowd cheered as Finlay made his exit.

2 weeks ago in Phoenix, John Cena & Lillian Garcia were at a Make-A-Wish Foundation event. There, it was announced that Make-A-Wish would grant wishes to 50 kids, one from each of the 50 states, at Wrestlemania. That's where singer-actress Raven-Symone (ex-"That's So Raven"), whose new movie "College Road Trip" just opened, factors in. Cena was honored by the foundation as he's about to grant his 100th wish. Amazing.

Match 3: Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho (Intercontinental title) Two weeks ago, Jericho defeated Hardy to join the IC champion in Money in the Bank IV. Between these two, they have won the IC title at least a dozen times. Jericho's 7 IC titles are a WWE record not likely to ever be broken. Any chance of a scientific matchup between these two goes out the door in a hurry in a flurry of fisticuffs and takedowns. Now, let's jump to the ending of the match and a flurry of a different kind. Hardy hit the Whisper in the Wind for 2. Went for the Twist of Fate, but Jericho threw him down and hit the Lionsault for 2. Walls of Jericho was blocked into a inside cradle for another near fall. Hardy finally hit the Twist, but missed the Swanton. That last mistake was all Jericho needed. One Code Breaker later, and Jericho adds to his record, winning the IC title for the 8th time. Winner & New IC champion: Chris Jericho.

Match 4: Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik vs. Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo (rematch from Wrestlemania 1) Rotundo is better known to most fans from his later stint as Irwin R. Schyster, whom we last saw in a battle royal a few months back. Windham has not wrestled on Raw in 10 years. The match, however, never got started, thanks to another party pooper, one Jillian Hall, who decided to mangle Bruce Springsteen's 80's anthem, "Born in the USA". Even Sheik wasn't digging this, but this will give him some material for his comedy act, I'm sure. Hall's karaoke from hell act ended when Rotundo literally spun her right out of her shoes with an airplane spin. Unfortunately, that left no time for the match to even take place.

Entering the Hall of Fame: Jack & Jerry Brisco. Comments from JR, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Dory Funk, Jr., Dean Malenko, and of course, Jerry's frequent partner in crime in recent years, Pat Patterson.

We're shown a montage of clips of the Big Show against a bevy of past foes, including last week's victims, Brandon Hill and Jamie Noble.

Clips are also shown, edited to eliminate certain players no longer in the company, of Triple H vs. Kane at Wrestlemania 15. Kane is watching backstage, and is joined by Randy Orton, who tries motivating him, but Kane clamps a chokehold on him and tells him he doesn't need a history lesson, since he remembers everything. Oy!

Match 5: Triple H vs. Kane (rematch from Wrestlemania 15) When these two fought in 1999, the Cerebral Assassin had yet to win his first WWE title. He'd held the IC & European titles, but had not yet won the big prize, something he would achieve 5 months later. Pretty even match from the go, as you would expect. HHH hit the turnaround spinebuster, but got only 2. Facebuster to the knee set up one attempted pedigree, but Kane backdropped his way out. Orton came out to the stage, still holding his throat. Kane went for the chokeslam, but Hunter countered and went for the pedigree again, but then caught sight of Orton. That allowed Kane an opportunity to regroup, but not enough time. He went up for the top rope clothesline, but Helmsley met him with a boot to the gut, and, well, 3rd time's the charm, as Kane's pedigree is checked, as JR would say. Winner: Triple H.

Earlier today, we got comments from John Cena on Wrestlemania. Basically, he repeats what he'd said after winning the Royal Rumble in January. He wasn't supposed to be back until no later than October. He risked everything for one more opportunity at Wrestlemania, and so far, he's been successful.

Match 6; Maria (w/Candice Michelle) vs. Melina (w/Beth Phoenix) Pre-match, Melina cut a promo and noted the absence of her Mania opponent last year, Ashley Massaro, who's back on the DL with a hand injury. Halfway through, Santino Marella comes out carrying a copy of Playboy, which he begins to tear up right in front of Maria. That distracts her long enough for Melina to score with a boot to the kidneys, then a legdrop DDT. Winner: Melina.

Post-match, Marella continued to shred the magazine. Candice tried to stop him, but Phoenix, the women's champ, blindsided her with a shot to the head. Marella left with Melina & Beth, and perhaps is likely to be in their corner at Wrestlemania. Clearly, he & Maria have split.

Now, it's time for the official weigh-in for Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather, emceed by no less than Shane McMahon, looking dapper in a blue pinstriped suit. Shane still has those Reed Richards (Fantastic Four) grey sideburns going, but then again, he's also styling like Michael Buffer. Mayweather comes out with his posse, and the boos were already raining down before Shane could finish introducing him. Mayweather weighs in at 159 pounds, Show at 441.4. Show cuts a money promo on Mayweather. Noting that the WBC Welterweight champion brought his crew, Show has his own. The locker room empties, with Kofi Kingston, Big Daddy V, Hardcore Holly, Matt Striker, Chuck Palumbo, Charlie Haas, Cody Rhodes, Super Crazy, Tommy Dreamer, and Shelton Benjamin among the wrestlers coming out. HA! Called it! Show gets a face reaction from the crowd. He gives Mayweather 2 scenarios. 1) He could take pity and let Mayweather live to fight another day. 2) If Mayweather continues to diss him, he'll take the boxer apart. Mayweather gets a "You suck!" chant. He cuts a counter promo on Show, and gets the "What?" chants. Heh, a year and a half ago, Show said that was passe. Mayweather repeated his threat to break Show's jaw. As Mayweather's posse left, the boxing champion lingered and found himself caught in the grip of the 5 time World champion, who threw him out of the ring. Benjamin and others broke Mayweather's fall, and a melee broke out. It was all Shane and ref Marty Elias could do to restore order.

Earlier, Randy Orton cut a promo, describing himself as an amalgam of certain attributes of his two challengers, Triple H & John Cena. He thinks he's the perfect champion. He couldn't be more wrong.

Match 7: Edge (w/Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder) vs. CM Punk (non-title) Once again, Mr. Straight Edge has a chance to avenge himself on the Rated R Superstar, who screwed him out of the ECW title a few weeks back. Unfortunately, things aren't going to go his way tonight, either. Just as Punk rallies, Edge cuts him off by turning an attempted bulldog into a DDT for 2. Punk ducks the spear and tries for the Go To Sleep, but picks up Ryder on the apron and drops him. Goes after Hawkins on the other side, and is speared all the way to Green Bay. Winner: Edge.

William Regal finally materializes, and queues up a video package for Umaga, then brings out the Samoan Bulldozer to promote the "Battle for Brand Supremacy" between Raw & Smackdown, as Umaga will face Batista. The former World champion comes out to a phat pop, and confronts Umaga. The battle is quickly joined. Umaga scores with a thrust to the throat, and braces for the Samoan Spike. He decides to run at Batista, which proves to be a mistake, as Batista plants him with a spinebuster. Regal pulls Umaga from the ring and has officials lead the former IC champ up the ramp.

Match 8: Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena (rematch from Wrestlemania 23) These two last fought on Raw in an epic battle in England shortly after their Mania meeting. Michaels won that non-title fight, evening the score at 1-1. That means this is the rubber match. In fact, JR references the London meeting in commentary. We learn that Floyd Mayweather suffered an elbow injury in the brawl with Big Show earlier. Just thought that needed to get out. Back to the main event. HBK went for the sharpshooter early, only to be countered by Cena maneuvering into the STFU. Michaels made the ropes before Cena could lock on his secondary finisher. Michaels begins working on Cena's left knee, using chop blocks. Cena tries hitting the FU, but can't "hold the weight". A 2nd attempt results in Michaels countering into a sunset flip for 2. Late in the match, Michaels begins to make his patented comeback, but misses the superkick, as Cena counters and tries again to apply the STFU, but HBK counters with a modified figure four. Cena forces a rope break. Michaels hits an Asai moonsault on the floor, then posts Cena. Seconds later, Michaels also hits the post, courtesy of Randy Orton. Winner: Shawn Michaels via DQ.

Post-match, Orton rolled Cena into the ring, then grabbed a chair and set it up in center ring. An attempted RKO goes awry, however, as Cena counters and finally hits the FU---on Orton. While Cena is standing tall in the ring, we cut backstage to Triple H, who will be in charge of his two opponents next week, and is putting them together as a team----against the entire Raw roster. Talk about running the gauntlet!!!
