Hometown diva Maria Kanellis comes over from Raw to emcee phase 2 of the diva competition. The text messages have been counted, and Maryse, the Canadian entry, has been eliminated. Coach assumed that Maryse might be a favorite. IMPO, I figured Victoria, after her spill last week, might wind up on the chopping block, but she survives for another week.

Tonight, the remaining four (Michelle McCool, Cherry, Victoria, & Eve Torres) will compete in the obstacle course, the same one used in the Diva Search Boot Camp in recent years. All four contestants clocked in at under 30 seconds. The numbers:

Eve: 0:23
Cherry: 0:22
Victoria: 0:25
Michelle: 0:20

Winner: Michelle McCool.

Victoria might've been able to pull it out, or at least tie Cherry, but she cost herself 3-4 precious seconds playing to the crowd after clearing the vault. Cherry apparently doesn't have sneakers to substitute for her skates, so she ran the course in her sox, impressing Coach & Michael Cole with her athletic ability. Like I said, she is a dark horse.

Maria is not the only guest visiting from Raw. Shawn Michaels has come over to help Ric Flair in his handicap cage match vs. Edge and the Edgeheads. The two talk strategy and their pending meeting at Wrestlemania. The conversation continues as we go to break....

Raw Rebound, repeated from Tuesday: The weigh-in for Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather, Jr., and the resulting fracas that followed. Added are comments from the combatants at a press conference the next day.

Match 1: Big Show vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore The two cruisers are already in the ring before Justin Roberts can introduce them. You know what that means. Stereo squashola!! Yang hit the moonsault, but Show simply caught him and hit a snake eyes in the corner. A running shoulder block finished Yang, who took a wicked spin bump. Show pulled up Moore and KO'd him with a straight right hand punch. Winner: Big Show.

Post-match, Show pressed Yang and tossed him out of the ring. Yang was grabbing his wrist as if he might've injured it.

Match 2: John Morrison vs. Mike Mizanin (Money in the Bank qualifier) The tag team champions, fresh from a successful title defense on Tuesday, are forced to split up and face each other to determine the last spot in Money in the Bank IV. Yes, the last spot. They've decided to go with 7 instead of 8, choosing not to fill the vacancy created by Jeff Hardy's suspension. These two have faced each other in singles only one other time, prior to Survivor Series. The familiarity they have as partners creates a difficult situation where it's hard to determine who has the edge. The fans don't seem to care who wins, it seems. Morrison went for a submission with a half-crab, but Mizanin forced a break by reaching the ropes. Miz got a near fall with a modified legsweep-neckbreaker combination, but Morrison came back with a sweet enziguri, then the corkscrew neckbreaker, to advance to Wrestlemania. Winner: John Morrison.

As the match began, Michael Cole announced that Morrison & Miz have to defend the tag titles again next week vs. Jesse & Festus. Hmmmm.

Next up is a recap of the Finlay-JBL feud. Finlay is backstage, and tells Cole that he can't put into words how he feels about what JBL did to his "son", Hornswoggle. You can, however, put into words what he intends to do to JBL at Wrestlemania. Hornswoggle, Finlay says, is getting better, but he'll never be the same. I've a feeling the former cruiser champion will be at Mania.

Match 3: Montel V. Porter vs. Batista (US title)(No Holds Barred) A countout win last week didn't satisfy the poser champion. He wants to prove he can beat Batista for a 3 count. I've a feeling, however, that there will be an uninvited guest added to the mix before this is all said & done.

The battle begins as an instant replay from last week. With the stip, MVP has every right to uncover a turnbuckle pad, in this case a middle turnbuckle. The fight spills to the floor. MVP grabs a chair, hoping to wipe out Batista with one shot against the post, but Batista is gone before Porter can even swing the chair. A 2nd attempt at a chair shot is countered with a spear. However, a black chair seems to be a better weapon than the standard grey steel chair. Porter finally uses the turnbuckle to his advantage, but can't sustain. Suddenly, Umaga, Batista's opponent at Wrestlemania, appears, and just as Batista beels Porter off the top, he's caught in the grip of the Samoan Bulldozer. One spike later, and Batista is easy prey. You could've seen this coming a mile away. Winner: Montel V. Porter.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. video package. Some of the material looked like it was taken from "MTV Cribs". I wouldn't be at all surprised if he hooked up with MVP.

Match 4: Kane & Jamie Noble vs. Great Khali & Chuck Palumbo Two odd couple tag teams, uniting for the first time ever. We learn that after losing to Big Show last week, Noble was attacked backstage by Palumbo, continuing their issue. Noble's ribs are taped as a result. Kane and Palumbo start, and it looks as if we'll get a replay of their bout from last week. However, Kane tags in Noble, who was all but demanding a tag. Big mistake. You can't fault the heart of Noble, but this had "designated jobber" written all over him. Palumbo overpowered him, then tagged out to Khali to finish the job. Khali applied the vise grip, but Kane made the save, then cleared out Palumbo. Unfortunately, that left Noble all alone with Khali. One Khali Bomb (tree slam), and that's it. Winners: Great Khali & Chuck Palumbo.

All 4 men will be in the 24 man battle royal at Wrestlemania to determine who faces Chavo Guerrero that same night for the ECW title.

Match 5: Ric Flair & Shawn Michaels vs. Edge, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, & Chavo Guerrero In order to keep a 2-man advantage for her team, Vicki Guerrero, making her only appearance of the night, added her nephew Chavo to the mix. They really need to remove her as GM yesterday. The numbers appeared to be too much for Flair & Michaels, and the Nature Boy was a bloody mess in short order. However, they fought back with a vengeance, and went to stereo figure four leglocks before Chavo hit a frogsplash to break that up. Abruptly, the lights went out, just as Edge was trying to escape. When they came on again, Undertaker appeared. Naturally, Chavo & the Edgeheads ran interference, and Chavo ended up eating a tombstone as Edge scaled the cage and escaped. Winners; Edge, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, & Chavo Guerrero.
