A.J. Styles vs. Rhino [Last Man Standing Match] AJ introduced
first, then Rhino is next and sprints to the ring. AJ slides out
to allow the introduction. Rhino runs out and chases AJ around the
ring. AJ slides in and Rhino catches him with a clothesline and
a punch. Rope to rope and back body drop on Styles who sells big
time as usual. AJ in the corner in a seated position. Rhino yanks
the leg as AJ hangs onto the ropes and slams him down back first
to the mat. Rhino sent to the corner now, AJ charges and is lifted
up and over the turnbuckle to the apron. Rhino smashes AJ’s head
into the turnbuckle sending him to the outside. Rhino then slingshots
himself to the outside over the ropes onto AJ. Back inside now,
AJ takes the upper hand as he bounces off the ropes and hits a leaping
dropkick. AJ now with kicks on Rhino. Crowd very into this contest
with AJ Styles/Rhino chants back and forth. AJ actually slowing
the pace with a few punches. He continues with some blows to the
head. Rhino however, powers up and starts throwing his own shots.
Sends AJ to the ropes but catches AJ’s boot in his gut to turn the
tide. AJ sends Rhino the ropes, and hits a Drop Toe Hold. AJ then
takes the tape off his own wrist and blatantly chokes Rhino. Referee
Earl Hebner breaks it up. AJ then goes to the apron and hits a huge
springboard splash and scores a three count. Rhino now has to get
up by a count of ten to continue. He gets to his feet at eight and
AJ attacks with more punches and knife-edge chops, followed by a
few kicks to the chest of Rhino. Rhino now reverses and picks up
AJ for a Powerbomb and falls backward sending AJ’s face into the
turnbuckle. Rhino hits a big Spinebuster and pins AJ. Now AJ is
put to the 10 count. AJ gets up. He gets to the top turnbuckle and
Rhino catches him but AJ hits a big sunset flip and a two count.
AJ pulls Rhino up to his feet, but gets caught in a firemen’s carry
by Rhino and Rhino hits a TKO for a two count. Rhino slips outside
and sets up a table outside on its side. AJ then comes over and
Atomic Drops him across the table crotch first. AJ sends Rhino in
the ring. AJ springboards and hits the Flying Delayed Forearm Shot
and gets a two count. AJ goes to the apron again to springboard
in but Rhino charges as he leaps and knocks AJ off the ropes. Rhino
then hits a big Powerbomb and hangs on for a pin attempt but only
gets two. Both men get up now, Rhino ducks a clothesline but then
gets caught with the Pelle back kick. AJ then tries a 360 punch
but Rhino reverses with a Gore. AJ slow to his feet, Rhino stalks
him setting up for another Gore. AJ gets up and gets GORED! AJ does
a backflip for a sell taking it beautifully. Rhino pins him 1-2-3.
AJ now has to answer the 10 count. Rhino goes outside and sets up
a table outside on the floor as AJ is counted. AJ gets up at 8 but
then intentionally drops back to a seated position and says “SCREW
YOU” to Rhino. Earl Hebner counts AJ to 10 and Rhino wins the match.
Rhino gets a mic and says that he is now satisfied with that win
because he did not give him the fight he wanted. Rhino charges AJ
up the aisle to the back. YOUR WINNER: RHINO Rhino then catches
AJ and Rhino Driver powerbombs AJ on the top of the stage. Rhino
then runs back down and gets a table, and drags it up the aisle
and sets it up propped against the tunnel for a Gore. Rhino charges
AJ who moves away and sends Rhino through the table for a missed
Gore attempt.
Chris Sabin vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Jerry Lynn [X-Division
Championship Match] The bell rings and all three circle. Jerry
Lynn in amazing shape at age 43. Sabin backs off and Daniels and
Lynn lock up. Sabin now runs in. Lynn hip tosses Sabin and Daniels
clocks him. Sabin slides out and Daniels tries to roll up Lynn.
Two count. Lynn to the ropes ducks a clothesline and hits a big
drop kick. Sabin in and clubs Lynn on the back. Sabin sends to the
ropes. Everyone now running ropes to ropes and they cross paths
three times. Daniels then hits a double back breaker on Lynn and
Sabin. Fast pace continues. Sabin takes Daniels out of the game
and knocks him to the floor. Lynn hits a back DDT on Sabin and a
two count. Daniels now back in the ring and hits a twirling one-armed
powerbomb on Lynn into a pin, two count. Daniels slaps on a submission
clutch. Sabin springboards in to break it up and he tosses out Lynn.
Sabin gets a two count on Daniels Sabin with a submission on Daniels
including giving him a Wet Willy. Two count on Daniels. Daniels
fights back but Sabin connects on a dropkick into the side of the
head of Daniels. Sabin sets up Daniels in a Tree of Woe and hits
a Hesitation Dropkick to the face and a two count broken up by Lynn.
Lynn sends Sabin to the corner, charges and gets lifted over to
the apron. He steps up to the ropes and double dropkicks Sabin and
Daniels. All men down on the mat momentarily. Lynn with punches
on both men and clotheslines as well. Lynn sends Daniels to the
ropes but reverses. Lynn leaps to the ropes, overshoots Daniels
and hits a hurrincanrada on Sabin. Then runs back and hits a hurrincarada
on Daniels. Fans chanting “New F’N SHOW!” Lynn hits a big clothesline
on Sabin and all three men down. All up now and Lynn puts Sabin
on the top rope seated for a bulldog. Daniels quickly leaps up and
hits Russian Legsweep DDT on Sabin simultaneously as he Bulldogs
Sabin!! AMAZING TRIPLE TEAM MANEUVER! Daniels up now and he hits
the Best Moonsault Ever on Sabin into a pin but broken up by Lynn.
Lynn tries a Powerbomb but Sabin rakes the eyes of Lynn as he goes
up and stops the move. Then he tries for a face wash on Lynn but
gets his leg caught and allows Lynn to hit a Sit Down Powerbomb
for a two count as Daniels flies in and breaks it up. AMAZINGLY
FAST PACE STILL! Lynn now hits Novacain on Daniels and a 2 and a
half count as Sabin breaks it up just in time. Lynn now picks up
Sabin in a Firemen’s Carry. Daniels tries Angel’s Wings but it’s
blocked. Lynn turns it into a Cradle Piledriver. He crawls over
to pin Daniels when Sabin shoots in and rolls up Lynn, hangs onto
the tights and scores the 3 count for the victory to become new
champion. Your Winner and New Champion: Chris Sabin
Austin Starr vs. Alex Shelley [PCS Series Finals Match] Kevin
Nash comes down for commentary. The judges are introduced. First
Samolian Joe (no not Samoa Joe). Fat Oily Guy is the second judge
and Bob Backlund is the third judge. They are seated at a table
at ringside. Shelley introduced first followed by Austin Starr.
Fans chanting Alex Shelley. They lock up and Shelley applies a top
wrist lock. Starr reverses into one of his own. Shelley reverses
out back into his own. Starr with a float through and Shelley applies
an odd arm/leg submission maneuver and they break. Shelley goes
to the ropes and is leapfrogged by Star then he hits a clothesline.
Starr then hits a springboard back elbow on Shelley and a side takeover
on Starr. Both men up now and Shelley hits a spin kick on Starr
then back breaks him over the knee, hangs on and runs toward the
corner with a Bulldog but gets tossed off. Starr then sends Shelley
outside and hits a corkscrew Moonsault onto Shelley. Shelley makes
it inside and goes for a shoulder block but gets kicked in the head
for his trouble. Shelley climbs the ropes while Starr is hanging
halfway in between the ropes. Shelley flies and knees Starr in the
back of the head. Starr crawls to the corner and puts some water
in his mouth. He spits in in Shelley’s face and tries a suplex but
gets kicked in the back of the head as a reversal. Shelley drop
toe hold onto Starr into the corner turnbuckle then dropkicks his
butt into the corner turnbuckle. Starr climbs the ropes now and
gets caught by Shelley. Shelley flies in and connects with a kick.
Starr now hits a front face pancake. Only 30 seconds remain in the
match before it goes to a decision. Starr slaps on a Camel Clutch.
The time expires during the clutch. We now go to a judge’s decision.
Samolian Joe awards victory to Austin Starr. Fat Oily Guy awards
the victory to Alex Shelley. Bob Backlund then gets into the ring,
as Jeremy Borash is about to announce the winner. Backlund reads
each category and whom he awards them to. Category 1 to Shelley,
2 is awarded to Shelley, 3 awarded to Starr. Backlund awards the
fourth to Starr. Backlund is just speaking terribly non-understandable.
Painful to listen to. Backlund then awards category 5 as a tie.
Kevin Nash then comes to the ring and says that there will be a
5-minute overtime period. Alex Shelley immediately tries a pinfall
but only two. Starr with a two count of his own. Shelley then takes
Starr down for a pinfall and takes the match. Your Winner: Alex
Shelley After the match, the other PCS competitors come down
to celebrate. Austin Starr flips out on Nash. He gets a microphone
and says that he didn’t come to TNA to play pogo sticks, or poker
or resurrect Nash’s career. He says that this is the only he respects,
and that’s Senshi. He tells him to get out of here with him. Senshi
says he doesn’t follow anyone. Starr then says that’s fine and slaps
Senshi and gets clocked by Senshi. Starr then shoves Samolian Joe
and Fat Oily Guy. Then he gets in Bob Backlund’s face and snuffs
him. Backlund then slaps the Crossface Chicken Wing on him.
James Storm vs. Petey Williams Petey and Storm lock up and
break. Storm slips outside and Petey slingshots out to him but Storm
sidesteps and shoves him into the apron in mid-air. Back inside
now Storm with a Double Underhook faceplant on Petey Williams and
a two count. Storm with an Eye of the Storm and tosses Petey. Petey
now lying across the bottom rope throat-first and gets a big boot
to the head. Storm picks up Petey Williams for a Powerbomb but gets
reversed down into a DDT. Petey sent to the corner now and tries
Spinning DDT but Storm places him out on the apron. Williams gets
back to the top and hits a Flying Cross body, then a side Russian
Legsweep. Petey setting up for a Destroyer but gets Speared by Storm
and he hits a DDT and a two count for Storm. Petey lays Storm across
the middle rope throat first and hits a dropkick to the back. He
slingshots out to the apron then back in and hits a double Knee
to the Face, Facebuster. Two count for Petey. Storm calls for a
Superkick now and misses. Petey tries a Crossbody but gets caught,
tries a Catatonic, Petey swings out. Petey tries to set up a Canadian
Destroyer but its blocked and Storm rolls up Williams and holds
the ropes for the 3 count. But wait it looks like the match is over
but Kim tells the referee that he cheated and used the ropes. Storm
then attacks Petey and handcuffs him to the turnbuckle. Storm goes
outside to get a beer bottle, but Gail Kim takes it out of his hands.
Kim turns around and slaps Storm. Storm brings her to her knees
and is about to clock her with the beer bottle. Petey cannot help.
Kim then hits Storm with a low blow. And winds up to clock him with
the beer bottle when suddenly Jacqueline runs in and attacks Kim!
Jacqueline is now in TNA. She beats on Kim and she and Storm hits
Death Sentence on Kim and leave together. Petey cuffed to the corner
all the while. Your Winner: James Storm
Voodoo Kin Mafia Segment VKM comes to the ring and B.G James
says that they are declaring victory. He says that they slept out
in front of WWE Headquarters, and they did nothing. They went to
Triple H at a WWE house show, he did nothing. VKM went to San Antonio
to look for HBK, but he did nothing. He then says that he wishes
Triple H well and hopes he heals up well. Then he says that Vince
McMahon could have gotten ratings if he responded, but he didn’t.
Then he says, just like the ratings he thinks he got by letting
Mr. Spears bet his champion. Or like having two celebrity look-a-likes
wrestle on their prime time cable show and listen to the fans boo
while he was seated at ringside. And then heard the Boo’s morph
into chants of T-N-A!! T-N-A!! B.G. James says that he thinks its
time for the fans to stand up and say.”We’re Not Gonna Take It!”
The fans then finish the song “We’re Not Gonna Take It Anymore!”
BG gives a big smile and says, you couldn’t have written that crap.
BG James then says that he is declaring victory and we need to stick
it to everyone and show that TNA is the new sheriff in town. Suddenly
Christy Hemme comes to the ring and says that she needs to tell
someone something and get this off her chest and asks BG what about
Chyna? Chyna was a huge part of DX. Is it because she’s a woman.
Christy then says what about Lita? She is crying and she says that
its not fair that the women are not a part of this business because
they are disposable. Fans chant “We Want Wrestling.” Christy says
that if this is her last time in the ring then it’s worth it. The
fans start to chant “Boring.” Christy then says that she is done.
BG James says that she is right, and he wants her to wrestle too.
Kip James then takes the mic and says she should go back to the
strip club she got fired from. And she better not ever interrupt
him again. He said girls are good for two things and he crotch chops
her, and BG James takes the microphone away. Hemme then says he
is right that women are really only good for two things. Their bodies,
and putting men back in line when they step out. She slaps Kip and
B.G. holds him back as she leaves.
Latin American Exchange [c] vs. Team 3D [Tag Team Championship
Match] Team 3D introduced first. LAX then introduced by a returning
Moody Jack Melendez. Konnan is not with LAX. Hernandez and Brother
D-Von start off and lock up. Side headlock for D-Von. Hernandez
sends him to the ropes and gets Shoulder Blocked. Hernandez goes
to the ropes and tries another Shoulder Block but D-Von is a brick
wall. D-Von to the ropes now, Hernandez drops down, then leapfrogs
D-Von. D-Von with consecutive Arm Drags and a dropkick and a two
count for D-Von. Brother Ray tagged in. Hernandez spits his gum
at Ray. Ray picks it up and chews it then spits it at Homicide.
Homicide is tagged in. Great heat build up right now as they face
off. Ray shoves Homicide down. They lock up, Ray picks him up and
tosses him. Homicide comes back with fists of fury and whips Ray
into the corner then tries a catapult but gets shoved off by Ray.
Ray puts Homicide in the corner and goes for a knife-edge but Homicide
moves and Ray slaps the turnbuckle instead. Ray hits a big Full
Body Chokeslam and gets a two count. D-Von in and they execute a
double team sidewalk slam, legdrop on Homicide. Homicide back up
now and he tags in Hernandez. Homicide back in quickly and applies
a reverse chinlock on D-Von. Twirling Shoulder Block for D-Von and
he tags in Ray. Ray then gets Homicide in the corner and hits a
HUGE Knife Edge chop that echoed. Outside the ring. Now and Homicide
and Ray are absolutely brawling. We go back inside and D-Von is
tagged in, so is Hernandez. Hernandez with a big chop on D-Von in
the LAX corner. D-Von sent to the opposite corner. Homicide runs
in and splashes D-Von, followed by Hernandez. Hernandez with a neck
wrench submission to slow the pace. D-Von in charge now, sent to
the ropes and shoulder blocks Hernandez. Then hits a neck breaker.
Homicide in and breaks up the pin. Homicide to the ropes and catches
a lariat by D-Von. Hernandez then receives a huge flying clothesline
courtesy of D-Von. Homicide in as well and he climbs the ropes.
Hernandez hits a back suplex and a flying elbow drop by Homicide.
Brother Ray screaming to kick out and he does at two. Hernandez
sent to the corner and D-Von tags in Ray. Ray with a slam and D-Von
climbs the ropes and they hit the Driving Headbutt to the crotch.
Ray calls for a tab le. But Homicide flies in and gets caught with
a 3D. Hernandez charges D-Von and gets sent out side the ring. Brother
Runt comes out in a Santa Clause outfit drinking a bottle of liquor.
He climbs the ropes and hits a splash on Homicide. The referee has
no choice but to disqualify Team 3D as they look on in disgust at
what Runt has just done. Runt goes to hug Ray but Ray shoves him
to the floor and tosses him to the outside. An upset Team 3D looks
at Runt and are visibly pist off at losing this match by DQ. Your
Winner: LAX
Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle [30 Minute Iron Man Match] The bell
rings and Angle charges the leg quickly and they lock up in the
corner and are forced to break. Lock up again and another break.
Angle with a headlock on Joe on the mat now. Joe back to his feet.
Shoulderblock on Angle. Joe now with a headlock on Angle Joe to
the ropes and he hits another shoulderblock on Angle who then slides
outside to regroup. Lockup and Angle to the ropes he leaves his
feet to drive his shoulders into Joe with a Flying Shoulder Block.
Now he uppercuts Joe in the corner and again. Boot choke by Angle
now on a fallen Joe. Angle to the corner, recoils out and gets clotheslined
by Joe. Angle to the opposite corner and Joe hits another charging
shoulderblock and then hits a leaping kick to the back of Angle’s
head. Two count for Joe. Joe has Angle in a front face lock on Angle
in the corner but they are forced to break. Angle with kicks to
Joe. Then Angle hits a Overhead Release Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Angle
then hits a Back Suplex and a one count. Angle with a choke on Joe
now to slow the pace. Angle with a knee to the mid-section of Joe
after they get to a vertical base. No sooner are they back on the
mat again with Joe again being choked. Joe tries to grab Angles
Ankle while he is being choked. Joe is battling and a break is forced
as Joe gets to the ropes. Angle tries a suplex but cannot get Joe
up and Joe hits a suplex of his own. Joe with a series of punches
now but Angle sends Joe to the ropes, Joe hangs onto the ropes,
Angle charges and Joe sidesteps and Angle falls out side. Joe then
follows Angle out by going coast-to-coast and flying through the
middle of the ropes onto Angle. Joe connects with the guardrail
as he flies as well. Angle sent back inside and Joe gets a one count.
Angle up, bounces off the ropes and Joe hits a snap powerslam. Two
count for Joe. Angle then hits an Overhead Release Suplex and a
two count. Joe now sits Angle on the ropes and he sets up a Muscle
Buster but Angle fights it off and rolls through into a pinfall
attempt but a quick kick out. Joe quickly applies a Rear Naked Choke
to Angle. Angle taps! Joe is winning 1-0. They re-set the match
now and here we go. Joe charges Angle and kicks him in the corner.
Angle now slaps on a choke of his own on a floored Joe. Pace slowed.
Joe gets to a vertical base and elbows out but Angle tries an Olympic
Slam. Joe floats over and arm drags Angle. Joe to the ropes and
hits a flying Knee Lift to the head of Angle. Angle goes for a Rear
Naked Choke but reversed into an Ankle Lock. Angle wrenches and
Joe taps. Angle and Joe are tied 1-1 We re-set and here we go. Angle
kicking Joe who is down in the corner. Angle stomps on the knee
of Joe. Angle takes Joe down to the mat with a choke. Chants of
“Let’s Go Joe, Let’s Go Angle” going up. Angle again tries an Olympic
Slam but Joe floats over. Angle tries a pin but only gets two. Joe
tries a Suplex. Angle drops down and latches on the Ankle Lock.
Joe taps out again. Angle is winning 2-1 We re-set again and Angle
pummels Joe in the corner with punches. Joe fights back somewhat
with a few punches. Uppercut by Angle, followed by kicks to the
knee of Joe. Angle gets clotheslined by Joe and Joe attacks with
a barrage of punches then shoots Angle into the corner and hits
a High Knee to the jaw of Angle. Joe sets up the Muscle Buster.
Angle again floats over and rolls up Joe. Angle then hits an Olympic
Slam and Angle gets 2 and a half. Angle tears down his straps and
applies an Ankle Lock. Joe rolls through and kicks off Angle. He
sets up a Muscle Buster and this time he hits it, and scores a 1-2-3.
Angle and Joe are tied 2-2 We re-set and here we go. Joe now with
punches on Angle. Joe sends Angle to the ropes; Angle ducks then
goes low for a shoulder block on the knee of Joe. Angle now with
a knee lock and turns it into the Ankle Lock. Under 6 minutes remaining.
Joe is in pain. Angle synched it in. Joe rolls through and kicks
Angle off. Angle climbs the ropes and tries a Double Axe Handle.
Joe catches him, tries to pancake him and instead Angle rolls through
and pins Joe for 1-2-3. Angle is winning 3-2 Re-set again and Joe
comes out fighting. Angle tries to escape the ring to stall. 4 minutes
remain. Joe follows him and is met with an uppercut. Joe in the
corner, Angle charges. Joe catches him with one arm and slams him
down. 3 minutes remain. Angle yanks Joe outside and wraps Joe’s
knee around the steel ring post. Angle rolls in and we are down
to 2 minutes remaining. Joe with punches. Angle whips Joe but reversed.
Joe with a slap to the chest. He seats Angle on the ropes and gets
a kick to the head. Joe hits a Muscle Buster. 1…2… Angle gets his
foot on the ropes! Joe tries a Rear Naked Choke. Joe mounted on
the back of Angle who is trying to avoid it. Angle throws him off.
Joe then slaps on the Ankle Lock on angle. He wraps the leg around
it and we have 10 seconds left. Angle is about to tap. The clock
is ticking down. 3….2……1…..0…Angle taps after zero!!! Time has expired
and that means Kurt Angle wins the match 3 falls to 2. Angle is
now #1 Contender for the NWA Championship. Your Winner: Kurt
Angle
Abyss [c] vs. Sting vs. Christian Cage [NWA World Heavyweight
Championship Match] Tomko is placed in a cage at ringside. Bell
rings and Sting and Cage exchange blows. Abyss goes after Sting
but Sting battles them both off. Sting whipped to the ropes by Abyss
and he clotheslines Abyss out on the recoil. Cage with chops on
Sting in the corner now and punches. Sting reverses it in to punches
of his own, he then climbs and pummels. Abyss trips Sting from the
outside and straddles his legs around the post, then sends him face-first
into Tomko’s cage. Christian then flies from the top ropes onto
Abyss but gets caught mid-air. And rammed into the post. Back inside
now Cage kicks Abyss to the head. Cage sent to the corner by Abyss
then splashed in the corner. Abyss then pancakes Cage high into
the air and to the mat. Abyss picks up Cage in a Fireman’s Carry
but Cage rolls out and tries an Unprettier. Abyss then picks him
up again and hits Shock Treatment. Cage kicks out at 2 and a half.
Cage tries a Frog Splash but Abyss catches him by his throat. Chokeslam!
Pin attempt by Abyss.. Only two. Sting up on the apron and Abyss
clocks him back off. Tomko reaches through the cage and chokes Sting
with his one free arm. Inside the ring Abyss hits Doomsday Slam
and goes for a pin but the referee is outside attending to Sting.
Abyss goes out and gets the referee. Inside the ring Abyss calls
for a Chokeslam but Cage hits a low bloc kick. Sting slides in and
shoves Abyss into Cage, Sting then hits the Scorpion Death Drop
and pins Abyss. Abyss is Eliminated! Abyss then stares at Sting
and chokes him. Mitchell tells him to do it, but he just throws
Sting down. Abyss and Mitchell leave. Cage now with a blatant choke
on Sting. Cage then with a snap mare and a kick to the back of Sting.
Rear Chinlock applied to slow the pace. Sting battles back up and
goes to the ropes but then gets elbowed by Cage. Cage wasting a
lot of time taunting. Sting powers up and poses. Cage throws punches.
Sting pounds his chest and punches back. Cage to the ropes and Sting
back body drops him. Cage then gets caught in a big Gorilla Press
Slam by Sting. Sting then hits a Stinger Splash. He goes for another
but Cage moves and Sting meets the turnbuckle. Cage tries to climb
the ropes. Sting climbs as well. Setting up a Superplex for Sting.
STING HITS IT! James Mitchell comes back down to the ring to observe.
Sting puts Cage in a Scorpion Death Lock. Mitchell knocks out the
referee and frees Tomko. Mitchell gets on the apron to distract
the ref. Tomko slides in the ring and hits a TKO on Sting. Christian
crawls over and gets an arm over Sting…1….2…KICKOUT! Tomko in again
as Cage distracts the referee. Sting however, knocks Tomko out of
the ring. Abyss down and he beats on Tomko and puts him back in
the cage and locks it back up. In the ring now Cage has the belt
and tries to hit Sting with it who ducks…Sting then turns it into
an Unprettier and hits it!…1….2….KICK OUT BY CAGE!! FANS ARE GOING
NUTS!! Cage with a kick and tries a clothesline on Sting who ducks
but he hits the referee instead. Sting chokes Cage. James Mitchell
in and he clocks Sting with his cane. Abyss in with a chain in his
hand as well. Mitchell faints and Sting applies the Scorpion to
Mitchell. Abyss stands there with a chain wrapped around his fist.
He looks to Cage and then clocks Sting. Cage hits a Frogsplash,
