Match 1: Diva Halloween Battle Royal The field is the same as the costume contest last night at Cyber Sunday. Consider this, then, an extension of the contest. The field:

From Raw: Mickie James, Maria, Jillian Hall, Melina
From ECW: Extreme Expose
From Smackdown: Torrie Wilson, Victoria, Michelle McCool

The best outfits: Mickie is Pocahontas. Torrie is a football player, getting her face heat back by wearing the colors of the Philadelphia Eagles. Victoria is a sumo wrestler. Melina is a showgirl. Jillian, of course, is Britney Spears. And so on. Layla & Brooke of Extreme Expose are the first to go, via Jillian & Victoria, respectively. Maria's cat's tail got caught in the ropes, which made her a non-factor. The final three were Torrie, Victoria, & Kelly. Torrie, wearing a helmet, knocked Vic down, and with help from Kelly, eliminated the former 2-time women's champion. Kelly then turned on Torrie and dumped her to win the match. Winner: Kelly Kelly.

Post-match, current champion Beth Phoenix came down and destroyed Kelly, who tried to escape, only to be tossed back in the ring by Melina & Jillian.

Now, they're recapping the Orton-HBK match from Cyber Sunday. After the break, Shawn Michaels comes down and discusses the match. Orton escaped with the title via DQ, but Shawn wants another shot, despite the fact that Orton is in a handicap match with Umaga vs. Triple H. Vince McMahon comes out, and turns the clock back 2 years. He plays devil incarnate and tries to force some darkness out of Shawn, who admits that he is motivated by revenge. The rematch is made for Survivor Series on November 18. I don't like the smell of this.

Match 2: Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin As I mentioned last week, Holly & Rhodes started teaming on the road on the last tour, and this is their first TV match together. Pretty much more of the same from last week's Rhodes-Benjamin singles bout. In fact, just like last week, the finish came out of nowhere, with Rhodes gaining the fall and a receipt on Haas. Winners: Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes.

Diva Search '07 finalists Brooke & Eve are in tha house. A winner will be announced later.

Beth Phoenix interview. She thinks Candice Michelle's career is over. I don't think so.

William Regal and Vince McMahon are in the GM's office, and Regal is questioning the chairman's decision to do a handicap rematch (Orton-Umaga vs. HHH took place last month), concerned about all the injuries. McMahon takes umbrage and says it's personal between him & HHH. Hornswoggle comes in, and Regal departs. 'Swoggle is actually obedient for a change and has a heart-to-black-heart talk with Vince. Turns out that 'Swoggle will face Jonathan Coachman next, and Vince wants to make sure 'Swoggle understands how to hate. Well, I would think so, considering all the time he spent with Finlay......

Match 3: Hornswoggle vs. Jonathan Coachman Comedy match, with guest ref Mick Foley, who's clearly helping out the former cruiser champion. Coach's best move was attempting, one would guess, some kind of bodyslam on 'Swoggle, but Foley interceded. Foley gave Hornswoggle his own personal Mr. Socko, leading to a testicular claw. Foley dropped Coachman, and 'Swoggle hit the tadpole splash. Winner: Hornswoggle.

Earlier, Mickie James paid a call on Trevor Murdoch, thanking him for saving her bacon last week. Southern gentleman Trev just didn't want to see a woman get hurt, even if it would end up at his own expense. Lance Cade arrives, and Mickie hastily leaves. Cade has a match coming up, and wants Trev in his corner, thinking there might be something stirring between Trev and Mickie. I doubt it.

Triple H interview. He mocks Todd Grisham for stating the obvious. Apparently, it doesn't bother him all that much that he has to go through Umaga & Orton again.

Match 4: Lance Cade (w/Trevor Murdoch) vs. Paul London (w/Brian Kendrick) Pretty good singles match, in which the cornermen didn't really do anything until the end of the bout. With London on the floor, Murdoch stalked his prey, but Kendrick ran across and hit a plancha to take Trev out of the match. London hit a dropsault, but only got 2. Cade came back with a uranage bomb and earned the fall. Winner: Lance Cade.

Post-match, the Highlanders came out and destroyed London & Kendrick, then stared down the tag team champions. I smell a 3-way for the titles.

Match 5: Carlito & Mr. Kennedy vs. Jeff Hardy & D. H. Smith This, friends, is your match of the night. The education of young Mr. Smith continues, as he serves well as face in peril for much of the match, with Carlito & Kennedy working on the left hamstring, doing well to avoid having Hardy come in. Kennedy hit a dragon screw legwhip, which JR merely calls a "leg lace". Smtih answered with an enziguri. Hot tags on both sides, and the pace quickens. Hardy hit the Whisper in the Wind, but Kennedy broke up the count. Kennedy went for a running concussion kick in the corner on Smith, who ducked. Kennedy ended up falling out. Carlito went for the backstabber, but Hardy countered into the Twist of Fate, followed by the Swanton Bomb. Good-bye! Winners: Jeff Hardy & D. H. Smith.

After the commercial, Santino Marella comes out. I think we know what's coming. Marella claims he ran into travel problems and couldn't be at Cyber Sunday, so he didn't get to confront Stone Cold Steve Austin. The glass shatters, but an ersatz Austin (Marella with a skull cap) appears on the TitanTron. This is SO lame. After the video, Maria comes out, having changed into a red dress. She tells Santino that the real Austin will show up next week, but Santino is not buying.

Well, this bait & switch was done to milk ratings for next week, since we'll be in the sweeps period by then. Meanwhile, Brooke & Eve are on their way. One of them is going home with $100,000 in the Diva Search----next.

As it turns out, Eve Torres is this year's winner. For the 2nd straight year, a former NBA cheerleader has signed on with the WWE. Last year, it was former Miami Heat cheerleader Layla El. This year, it's Eve, who previously was with the Los Angeles Clippers' Spirit Team.

Match 6: Randy Orton & Umaga vs. Triple H This handicap match took place last month, with HHH winning via DQ. Will the result be any different this time? Well, yeah. Hunter had his moments, but the numbers proved to be too strong. However, the DQ goes the other way this time, as Shawn Michaels returns and goes right after Orton, prompting ref Mike Chioda to call for the bell. Winners: Randy Orton & Umaga via DQ.

Post-match, the reunited DX chases the champion & Umaga out of the ring. Backstage, Vince McMahon & William Regal are watching, and Vince announces that DX will be back together "for one night only" next week. Regal's digging, but doesn't realize what sinister plans McMahon has.
