Ring Of Honor Best In The World Buyrate Update; Plans For Final Battle

Ring Of Honor’s first broadcast television PPV, Best In The World 2014, which took place earlier this year on June 22, 2014, did an estimated 12,000 buys, according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

The original number of buys reported by Meltzer was 10,000. The number doesn’t include international sales from Ustream, and the company sees the 12,000 result as a profitable success.

ROH Final Battle 2014, which is scheduled for December, may take place in New York City. The promotion has big plans for that card, and IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles has already agreed to participate. The location is rumored to be Manhattan Center’s famous Hammerstein Ballroom, where ROH/NJPW War Of The Worlds took place earlier in 2014.
