Dean Ambrose was recently a guest on The Wrestling Compadres Podcast where he spoke about various subjects, including the health of former Shield comrade Roman Reigns.
Ambrose said that he found out about Reigns' hernia injury and called him that night before he boarded a flight and Reigns was in a huge amount of pain.
"He was in the hospital at that time and sounded like he was in a lot of pain," Ambrose said.
"I saw him at the signing in New York City," Ambrose added. He noted that Reigns was in really good spirits and thought that this would be a blip on the radar and wouldn't affect Reigns very much. He said that he was really happy his former partner didn't experience any long term damage.
Reigns looks to be sidelined for several more weeks while he heals up from his surgery, which took place on September 20.
