WrestlingTimesX - Do you believe in YES?

We all believe in The Shield. Hell, others believe in Evolution. And then there are those that just BOlieve. But does anyone still believe in YES?

Momentum severely declined for Daniel Bryan following his historic championship victory at WrestleMania, especially now that he went through neck surgery this past week. But some brass believe that Bryan peaked at 'Mania and that he isn't really "over" with the WWE Universe. They claim that it's the "YES" chant that is over, not Bryan. Anyone else believe that?

So what they are trying to say is that when The Big Show attempted the "YES" chant, the wrestling fans reacted the same way as when Bryan lead the charge? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. They're all wrong!!!

A one syllable word isn't some magic spell or incantation that can instantly propel wrestlers into superstardom, it simply doesn't work that way. The YES Movement was popular and powerful because the fans were fighting for something they believed in. That's why the night after WrestleMania, the fans--in unison--chanted "You Deserve It!"

However, Bryan is in a horrible predicament because Triple H and the rest of Evolution abandoned the WWE World Heavyweight championship pursuit, in order to prove their dominance against The Hounds of Justice. If this keeps up, Hogan, Hall, and Nash will hobble out of the woodwork wanting a piece of the action, and that just isn't good business.

While the feud between The Shield and Evolution has been entertaining, the main focus should be on the World title. Daniel Bryan can only do so much if the WWE is unwilling to provide him with appealing and compelling competition. Honestly, how excited can we get over a re-masked Kane rehashing simple parlor tricks from his heydays? The last time Kane was exciting was during his last World title run in 2010.

Just ask yourself, why was the legendary Brett Hart--The Best there is, The Best there was, and The Best there ever will be--so damn great? A champion is only as great as the competition he faces, and Bret Hart battled against the likes of Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Mr. Perfect, Steve Austin... villains who loved doing villainous things.

WWE needs to drop this Kane momentum killer, and pair Bryan up with someone wrestling fans would want to pay to see compete for the title. Someone like Bray Wyatt.
Now, I know Bray and Bryan have already gone to war, and that Bray is too busy trying to kill John Cena's spirit. But Bray is the only logical villain that people actually love. That's because Bray isn't one-dimensional like these other bad guys--Damien Sandow, Ryback, Russev, Fandango, Curtis Axel. He's sick and twisted, and he spins and weaves these half-truths that we cannot help but be Bray-washed.

Give Daniel Bryan better competition, and see whether or not Bryan is "over". As for the aftermath of his neck surgery, will Daniel Bryan be back? The answer is... YES!

Answer the Question: Who would you like to see Daniel Bryan defend the World Title against?
