WrestlingTimesX - WTX Video Podcast Returns and WWE Battleground Main Event Talk

John Cena, in less than 24-hours after winning his coveted 15th World title, was forced into a Fatal Four-Way at Battleground by The Authority. The same power couple that shortly made the announcement that Cena would be on the cover of the new WWE 2K15 this fall. But The Authority wanted much more out of Cena, they wanted a corporate champion. Love him or hate him--mostly hate--he doesn't consider himself a stodge for anyone. And of course, if Cena didn't want to play "The Game" then he now has to pay the consequences.

His opponents this Sunday are Randy Orton, Kane, and Roman Reigns. Orton and Cena have a long storied rivalry that has seen its share of championship matches. Kane is also no stranger to Cena, especially on a World championship level. Yet, based on how Kane behaved at the last pay-per-view, more than likely, Kane will participate in the Fatal Four-Way with the sole priority of ensuring that The Authority’s hand-picked “Face of the Company” wins. Then there’s Roman Reigns.

Having since gone his own way after the disbanding of The Shield, Reigns has made quite an impression on the WWE Universe. With intensity and pure strength, Reigns is not intimated by anyone. Roman is so fearless that he once winked at Triple H during a stare down. So he isn't intimated by The Authority, and he's definitely not intimated by Kane and Orton.

While there is no doubt that Reigns can hold his own in this match, John Cena is nearly impossible to beat during his championship mode. So we come to the aged old question, what happens when the unstoppable force of Reigns’ Superman punch meets the immovable object that is Super Cena?

Answers will unfold this Sunday at Battleground, but what I am most excited for is the return of my video podcast “WTX Video Podcast”. It’s been a year since our last video podcast when we interviewed independent wrestling star, David Star. You can say that life got in the way, so me and my best friends decided to take a break. But now we are back!
