Reaction Zone - An idea long overdue

If there's one thing I can't stand about WWE Uncreative, and there's a lot of things I can't stand about that, it's their inability to accurately pin down a time frame to a milestone of any kind.

Case in point: Raw Commissioner/Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon made an increasingly rare appearance at the end of last night's show. Rather than correct Paige's ill-advised claim (written for her by those same uncreative dimwits) that she started the current "women's revolution", Stephanie, the real leader of the movement, confirmed what had been rumored for a while, that there would be a women's Royal Rumble match at the namesake event on January 28 in Philadelphia. However, where Stephiekins failed her audience was having it written to add six months to the existence of said revolution. Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, & Becky Lynch were all called up in July 2015, not January of that year. Translated, it's been closer to 2 1/2 years, not 3, as Stephanie claimed. Seems she's learned from her pops not to let facts get in the way of telling the story.

The immediate reaction from the female superstars was mass jubilation. The current feud between Absolution and the rest of the Raw women was forgotten. We'll see tonight just how the women of Smackdown react and respond to this news.

But who would win a women's Royal Rumble? Well, that's easy. This would begin Asuka's coronation as the new Queen of the Hill in WWE, unless Vince is really, really ignorant and decides either Paige or one of the 5 newbies called up last month is more deserving. After all, he doesn't want Absolution or the Riott Squad doing clean jobs just yet. Rumors are already starting that this would be the jump-in point for former UFC superstar Ronda Rousey.

All I can say, for now, anyway, is to stay tuned and see what develops over the next six weeks.
