Reaction Zone - His smile has thorns

By now, you know that former WWE tag team champion Titus O'Neil was suspended for 90 days as a result of what was thought to be a playful gesture at the end of Raw on Monday, at the end of Daniel Bryan's retirement speech.

To sum it up, O'Neil grabbed CEO/Chairman/Dictator-for-life Vince McMahon, who responded with what looked like a playful return shove, but in the executive's warped mind, was anything but.

A 70 year old man shouldn't put himself in that position if he doesn't want his talent making any physical contact with him. Vince McMahon will smile for the camera, but under that smile lies a paranoid, some say prematurely senile, former genius who may have misinterpreted the point of O'Neil's actions, but that misinterpretation had dire consequences.

Now, barring a reversal of attitude in time for Wrestlemania the first weekend in April, O'Neil will not be a part of the "Show of Shows", and that's a shame. He's eligible to return to the active roster in May, but I'd not be surprised at all if instead, O'Neil is handed his walking papers then.

With all the injuries on the roster, you'd think there'd be a little leeway, but instead, the old man thins the roster by one, and that's the wrong decision.

Maybe the character of "Dr. Shelby" should stick around and take McMahon in as his next patient......!
