Detailed Results
1. ROH TV title: Kenny King vs. Caprice Coleman.

Former teammates in the Rebellion collide in this week's opener. Rev. Coleman conned his way into a title shot when he had King on the Pulpit a while back. So hypocritical of a man of the cloth (which Coleman is in real life). Anyway, good back & forth opener. Coleman got near falls with the Northern Lights Holy Trinity and the Skysplitter, but couldn't put King away. Shane Taylor came out with Coleman, but didn't do much, and when he tried to get involved, King took him out with a corkscrew plancha. King with the Royal Flush, and Coleman's headed off to confessional.

Winner: Kenny King.

Punishment Martinez came down. Taylor got in the ring, and they doubled on King. Silas Young, who was on commentary, then joined the fray, until the challengers for the TV title at Final Battle fought amongst themelves......

Briscoe Brothers promo. They're trying their best to replicate, if not accurately, some of the most heated Dudley Boyz promos from ECW. Jay kept calling Bully Ray & Tommy Dreamer cowards. Sure enough, Bully & Tommy come down, but so does security and ROH CEO Joe Koff, hoping to prevent a fight. Good luck with that. Koff makes it official. Dreamer/Bully vs. the Briscoes at Final Battle. The inevitable pull-apart begins after that, so Ray's ready to go.

The Addiction are out next. After an incident where a fan was struck at a live event, War Machine's Ray Rowe was suspended for 30 days, but as Ian Riccoboni points out, Rowe returns at Final Battle. Hanson comes down to take up for his partner. Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian beat him down and tie him with tape to the middle rope. A box cutter as an emergency razor? Are they crazy? Yep. Security's back out. Hanson gets free, and the former tag champs bail.

2. Jay Lethal vs. Matt Taven (w/the Kingdom).

Marty Scurll is on commentary. Why TK O'Ryan & Vinny Marseglia, with their rap sheets, are allowed at ringside, is beyond stupid. Decent match, but a screwy finish because Scurll left the desk to distract Lethal. He throws his umbrella into the ring, trying to coax Lethal into using it. Nope. Lethal throws the umbrella back to Scurll, and Taven rolls him up for a surprise win.

Winner: Matt Taven.

Contract signing between Cody and Dalton Castle to close. Brandi Rhodes makes a rare ROH appearance at her husband's side. Cody's really laying on the smugness this time. Amazingly, no fighting. Meh.
