Detailed Results
This week's show picks up where last week's left off, as Dario Cueto has a meeting with Alberto El Patron......

1. Fenix vs. Argenis.

Matt Striker tells us that Argenis is the brother of the original Mistico, now using a different name in Mexico. Hot opener, and the fans are way into it. The finish sees Argenis attempt a tombstone piledriver, but it's countered by Fenix into one of his own. During all this, Catrina comes down, but does nothing of note until after the match.

Winner: Fenix.

Post-match, Catrina, focused on Fenix, gives Argenis the lick of death. She's obviously setting up Fenix for a rematch with Mil Muertes. We think. After the break, Muertes, questioned about being soft backstage by Catrina, grabs her by the throat, and says he needs nothing. He then goes on and confronts Chavo Guerrero, Jr., giving him a warning that they'll meet next week. Uh-oh. Meanwhile, Big Ryck is at a church confessional, telling a priest of what he intends to do to his former Crew.

2. Johnny Mundo vs. Son of Havoc (w/Ivelisse).

SOH dedicates this to Ivelisse. I know, it's close to Valentine's Day, but SOH might have been better off shaving his beard and buying her flowers. Very good match, and the crowd is split between the two. SOH will turn face yet. SOH writes his own epitaph, however. With Mundo down, SOH ascends to the top, but pauses to dedicate his next move to Ivelisse. Bad idea. Mundo blocks, then hits the End of the World (Starship Pain).

Winner: Johnny Mundo.

Mundo has no time to celebrate, after rebounding from the loss to Cage last week. King Cuerno, who had a lot to do with that match, ambushes Muundo and lays him out with the Thrill of the Hunt (Cradle Shock).

3. Pentagon, Jr. vs. Ricky Mandel.

Vampiro gets Mandel confused with Rick Martel, and Striker has to correct him. Unfortunately, it's a squash. Mandel gets a hope spot, and that's about it, before tapping out to Pentagon's version of the Kimura. And, yep, Mandel gets a "broken arm" out of the deal.

Winner: Pentagon, Jr.

Alberto El Patron arrives in the arena to a massive pop. If only WWE had started him off as a face when he arrived 4 1/2 years ago, maybe he doesn't leave. El Patron speaks in Spanish about the circumstances behind his departure from WWE, without mentioning them directly. We see that he is also the AAA champion, having beaten Texano back in December. Well, who should show up but Texano, wielding a bullrope, to beat down Alberto, and vowing to get his title back.

Now, we're talking. If the producers can get clearance for a AAA title match of any kind, be it their world or tag titles, that would get people tuning in for sure, with the right kind of promotion.
