Detailed Results
As has been promised, it's a showcase from Supercard of Honor. Former champ Adam Cole subs for Steve Corino this week.

1. ROH TV title: Jay Lethal vs. Jushin "Thunder" Liger.

Truth Martini only appears in a pre-taped promo. Apparently, this was an important enough match in Lethal's mind, such that the House of Truth was kept backstage. Cole compares Lethal's effort to his own vs. Liger last year. That night, Cole won by tap-out. They're teasing a future Cole-Lethal program with the commentary, furthering my suspicion, considering Cole's heel comments toward Jay Briscoe later in the show, that Lethal could be turning face and leaving the HOT down the line.

Without the nothing happening fashion victim Martini in his corner, Lethal can and does perform much better against a quality opponent of Liger's stature. It's a very even bout, although Lethal does control most of the offense. Lethal wrestles more of a clean style here, another sign of a possible turn. Hail to the King is blocked, but Liger makes a critical error, too, and that leads to the Lethal Injection.

Winner: Jay Lethal.

Lethal cuts a promo, talking to the hard camera, after, in his Ric Flair voice. Really needs to get away from that.

2. ROH title: Jay Briscoe vs. Samoa Joe.

Joe is announced at 300 pounds, gaining some 15-30 pounds from his TNA run. Yeah, go ahead and make the jokes that MVP fed him junk food on the way out. Oh, I just did. Joe's going to have to drop weight before he goes on to WWE, if the rumors are true.

As was the case in the earlier match, the fans make with dueling chants, supporting both champ & challenger. Joe went for the muscle buster twice, only to have Briscoe squirm out both times. Looked like Joe was going for a powerbomb, only to have Lethal counter and hit the Jay Driller out of nowhere to end it.

Winner: Jay Briscoe.
