Detailed Results
Tonight marks the return of the most infamous Raw gimmick of all time, Raw Roulette. I'm begging them to play ZZ Top's cover of "Viva Las Vegas", but, of course, that ain't happenin'.

Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels opens the show. He misses the bright lights and the fans, but, contrary to what he said about past guests, he doesn't miss an opportunity to shamelessly plug his new Outdoor Channel show, debuting tomorrow. Depending on where you live, Outdoor Channel is a premium service, so you may have to pony up some extra coin to catch HBK's new show.

CM Punk & Nexus are out. Nexus is short a man, as Mason Ryan is on the DL after sustaining an injury at a house show over the weekend. Punk teases a possible match with Michaels, but that ain't happenin', either. Michaels blasts David Otunga with the superkick, at which point the GM rings in. Punk is in tonight's opener. Whoopi Goldberg's little brother, Booker T (have to make fun of the cornrows & specs), spins the wheel, revealing a mystery opponent-----KANE!

1. CM Punk vs. Kane.

Michaels took Michael McGillicutty out of the picture with a superkick before leaving, so the tag champs are gone. Kane, who with Big Show was screwed out of the titles last month by Punk, is looking for revenge. Very even early, but when Kane took control, and went up for a clothesline, Punk bailed and left the arena, taking a deliberate countout loss, perhaps trying to save himself for John Cena at Money in the Bank. Winner: Kane.

2. Sin Cara vs. Evan Bourne.

The people wanted this match last week, but due to technical problems, it didn't happen, and Bourne was squashed by Mason Ryan instead. Booker is now joined by Eve Torres, who spins the wheel, and it comes up----No Countout. How appropriate, considering the last match. Call air traffic control!

Tons of near falls, but the match was way, way too short. Cara hit a suicide dive on the floor. Bourne went for Air Bourne (shooting star press), but Cara slid out of the way. Bourne landed on his feet, but Cara hit the satellite headscissor bulldog combo for the win. Winner: Sin Cara.

Now, it's Kofi Kingston's turn. However, Vickie Guerrero cuts in and spins. It lands on player's choice, and Kofi decides what the people wanted last week, to have Vickie banned from ringside for his rematch with Dolph Ziggler. And it's next!

3. Non-title: Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston.

As Kofi makes his way out, we learn he'll be part of the Raw Money in the Bank ladder match, along with Evan Bourne, R-Truth, Alex Riley, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Rey Mysterio, & The Miz. Vickie tries to intro Dolph, but is ejected to enforce the stip. Ziggler doesn't need her anyway, in my opinion. However, Vickie's absence does take Ziggler off his game just enough. Hit the Famouser for 2. He tried to send Kingston out, but Kofi blocked with his head and hit Trouble in Paradise! Winner: Kofi Kingston.

Maryse joins Booker, and so does Del Rio. The Mexican Snob faces Big Show in a rematch from Capitol Punishment next, but what's the match? Booker's ready to spin, but Alberto asks Maryse to do the honors. The former Divas champ uses two hands to spin, but it lands on-----a steel cage match. Maryse leaves, and Alberto is livid!

4. Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio.

A cage is supposed to prevent outside interference. Not in the WWE, where that's kind of commonplace. Predictably, Mark Henry shows up, tears open the door with his bare hands (2006 called, it's still impressive), and booted Show, enabling Del Rio to crawl out of the cage and to victory. Winner: Alberto Del Rio.

Henry then used the door to send Show out of the cage, tearing off one side of the structure!

5. Non-title: Kelly Kelly vs. Nikki Bella (w/Brie).

It's a submission match, something neither of these divas is known for. Nikki applies a Fujiwara armbar, but can't get Kelly to tap. Kelly escapes, then locks on a Boston Crab, and Nikki taps almost immediately! Winner: Kelly Kelly.

The twins attack after, but Eve Torres makes the save. Figure on a tag match next week, while Brie gets her rematch at Money in the Bank.

Update on Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine. He's now at Florida Championship Wrestling, getting some seasoning. Comments from Hall of Famers Dusty Rhodes & Rick Steamboat.

Rey Mysterio draws a Texas Tornado tag match. He's teaming with Alex Riley vs. Miz & Jack Swagger in a mini-MITB preview. Diamond Dallas Page makes his first WWE appearance in 9 years to plug the new Best of WCW Monday Nitro DVD with his old pal Booker. Drew McIntyre interrupts, and threatens to stretcher them both out, but is KO'd by a superkick from---who else?---Shawn Michaels.

6. Rey Mysterio & Alex Riley vs. The Miz & Jack Swagger.

Best match on the show. Period. They were given more time than anyone else and deservedly so. Tons of near falls. It took a while, but Rey finally dialed 619 on Swagger. Riley hit the implant DDT. Mysterio with the missile splash, and see you later. Winners: Rey Mysterio & Alex Riley.

Yes, folks, Riley has finally earned a win on Raw.

R-Truth is talking to himself before he spins the wheel. Booker has to get his attention onto the task at hand. Table match vs. John Cena---next!

7. Non-title: John Cena vs. R-Truth.

Not surprisingly, this degenerated into a brawl very quickly. CM Punk came out, wearing a Stone Cold Steve Austin shirt. Cena set up Truth for the Attitude Adjustment, but Punk moved the table. Cena chased Punk into the ring, which proved costly, as Truth speared him into a table standing in the corner. Winner: R-Truth.

Post-match, Punk walked to the stage and sat down. He cut a worked shoot promo, continuing to claim he'll leave as champ when his contract expires on July 17. I don't see that happening. He name-checks Hulk Hogan, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and John Lauranitis as he begins to vent his spleen toward not only the fans, even the ones cheering for him, but also the McMahon family. Ultimately, he takes it too far, and his mic is cut off to end the show.
